But Ravi smiled, playing along.
“I don’t want to waste it. It smells expensive.”
Sirisha let her hair fall back, brushing lightly against his hand.

For a second, neither spoke.
She reached out and gently took the bottle from his hand.

Warm. Soft. Lightly trembling.
Then she stepped back.
“Not bad, Bhayya,” she said,
Slipping the bottle back onto her shelf. “You sprayed it like a pro.”
Ravi exhaled, a breath he hadn’t realized he was holding.
“You made it hard,” he said.
“Did I?” She tilted her head. “Or did you just… forget to blink?”
He laughed. A little too late.
Sirisha grinned and turned away, walking toward the speaker in her room as if nothing had happened.
But the faint color in her cheeks, and the way her fingers played with the edge of her top, told him otherwise.
And Ravi, he sat down on her bed, still tasting the scent of her skin in the air,
Realizing this moment would replay in his mind again and again.
Not because he had sprayed a perfume.
But because she had let him.
