Great update and as expected, Sonarika’s arc took dark turn…
I didn’t expect to have my thoughts change, My thoughts now align with none of the readers not author here, I feel the characters arc just took a turn, I now see Sonarika in new light not because she is thinking about sacrificing herself as Harry is mentioning but because now I see her in different light who has found new life and found new partner, Her realization that she should confess to Hemanth and not ruin him in future when he finds the truth from some one is only half of her realization, I feel she should realize that she fell in love with Vikram, though Author doesn’t agree to this and keeps saying it as an addiction I refuse to agree to it.
I feel now that if Sonarika ever reconciles with Hemanth then it will be wrong, her destiny is with Vikram, and she has already paved the path for it.
Lets see few instances where we see true love between the lovers….
“In a way , it was as if she was putting her identity as a wife and mother away for some time. Here she wasn't that woman anymore.’’
True she was putting her persona of wife, mother and sister aside but what was she when she was with them? Her mind and body were with Vikram for the last 8 months, was she living the role of wife, mother or sister? Or was she living the life of a lover under disguise of a married lady missing her lover?
“She felt familiar to her teenage times at this moment here , as if she had no burden in her shoulders , no responsibilities to follow , a freedom that was liberating. “
One who considers her life, responsibilities as a wife, mother and sister a burden has lost all even before waging a war in her mind, Here Sonarika has not just lost her war by removing her burdens but she herself feel relieved from dropping her mask that she wore for society and for her well-built life.
“He did not approach her once. The restraint should have comforted her. Instead, it gnawed at something inside her. The awareness of his proximity was a constant throb beneath her skin.”
She herself sought his presence; she craved his attention. Her unconscious mind planned to come to this event in the name of keeping pretense before Meghana, but she is absent from the whole proceedings and that shows she came here on her own accord and she was willing to be with Vikram subconsciously.
“At one moment , she cursed herself of ever getting close to Vikram , while another moment , she wished she was never married and Hemant was never in her life so her decisions regarding Vikram would've been clear.”
Was other moments more frequent or the first one more frequent and we know the answer, she was physically present in her life but her mind and thoughts are only with one man.
“Because without Hemant , Vikram would've never happened. She remembers the reason she lost her control near Vikram even though was because of his charm , but some was also because of Hemanth's weakness.
What weakness? Does she mean he is weak in bed for her? He cannot fulfill her passion. Or was he just not good looking enough for her? Weaknesses are within her, she was always craving for something that she lost when she was with Rocky, yes that was painful separation but she missed the animalistic relationship that Rocky brought to the bed and yet she liked the caring of Hemanth...so who possesses both the characteristics? We all know the answer why she fell in love with Vikram now….
And then Vikram walked in and swept her off the feet and then things took the turn for the worse when Hemant started to fix himself up. That is where her turmoil began. Her bridge between two men forged in the chaos.”
When some one we love make extra effort for us and starts to fix things that we do not like we appreciate the effort, Sonarika never appreciated Hemanth, she was lost in her own world that she built with Vikram and her attitude to not appreciate the efforts truly means it’s too late…..
“their eyes never strayed from each other. The crowd clapped and whistled, but to them, it felt like they were dancing in a bubble no one else could penetrate.”
Why would I mistake this as only lust? Lust doesn’t blind themselves to other people in fact it makes them aware that they should be cautious around each other among other’s presence, only when you are in love you do not care about the people around and your eyes hold only one person that matters.
“The glances, the silences, the subtle graze of fingertips—they weren’t accidents. Something was rekindling, dangerously and beautifully. And in the solitude of the night, her heart could no longer lie to her mind.”
Her heart craves not sex but to spend time with the person her heart seeks.
“In that moment, Sonarika wasn’t a wife or a mother—she was simply a woman who found something lost within her, returning to her making her felt fully seen.”
She found her Rocky and Hemanth together in one person…Vikram is perfect for her.

Her actions are blurring the lines of morality, but her guilt always seeks the nobleness of her actions…If hypothetically if it was noble, would she make choice of choosing Vikram over Hemanth? That is a tough question to answer…but I see the answer has changed since last 8 months.

Vikram truly loved her, and he sees her desires, aspirations, weaknesses fully, how is it possible? Her husband despite being so called King didn’t see the true calling of his wife…She belongs with Vikram.

"I’m married. This... this feels wrong. Like you’re trying to replace something that belongs to someone else"
The moment she sacrificed the true moment that Hemanth promised her for their honeymoon in future to Vikram, she truly gave herself to Vikram, if anyone has doubts about this or if the outcome is different, it would be bad ending for her arc. She knew that Hemanth was planning her wedding night and reclaim her and gift her first night to her that she missed, yet she happily gave that moment to Vikram which shouldn’t have belonged to him, but we see that now it unfolded, it shows to us that she truly belongs with Vikram.
“She clung to him, heart racing, and for the first time in years, Sonarika felt whole. “
Yes, proves my point.
All the readers are craving to punish Sonarika because every story will end up with sad protagonist and happy wife who seeks extra marital affair but what did you guys expect from this site? This is a site where female lead is supposed to cheat, isn’t it? Else why are we reading here?
We jerk to their extra married affair yet after squeezing the juice out we turn into hypocrites now that want housewife to be punished lol
What an irony, weren’t we jerking 2 mins before for the same housewife? We need to look beyond pettiness of punishments, tortures and sad endings for housewives.
Yes, there will be consequences but there should be happy ending too…she should reunite with Vikram and that’s where she belongs. Her consequences should be enough punishment for her to realize her mistakes of playing with fire…. Her mistake is not showing her true self to Hemanth on what she is craving and what she was missing from Rocky. Had Hemanth known this he would have showed her his side that could have pout 100 Vikram’s to shame but she never gave that chance to him…. Alas it is a lost cause now and Hemanth should find his match either in Tamanna who truly loved him from the beginning or in Pranitha who never got her share of true love and who is craving for it.
Hope the character developments of Hemanth and Sonarika don’t deviate from their true natures else it will look fabricated.
