Sunday, Late Morning - Still in 202
“I’ll be back in fifteen,” Sandeep said, slipping on his sandals.
“Going to grab some chips, soda, maybe a few soft drinks from that new mini-mart.”
Madhavi looked up from the kitchen counter, where she was checking the spice tin.
“Don’t take twenty, ha. Lunch time.”
Sandeep laughed and waved.
The front door clicked shut.
For a few seconds, the apartment was silent.
Still.
And then Abhi moved.
He rose from the chair, slow and deliberate, and walked toward the kitchen.
Madhavi sensed him before she heard his steps.
She was rinsing veggies at the sink when his arms slid around her waist from behind.
“Hmm,” she murmured, not resisting. “So suddenly affectionate?”
“You,” Abhi said softly, leaning in close to her ear, “shouldn't have said all that about Shruti.”
“Why not?” she whispered, her voice playful, as the water continued to run.
“Because now… I want to know more.”
He kissed the edge of her jaw, his lips warm against her skin.
She turned slightly, letting her back press into him.
“More?” she teased. “Curious already?”
Abhi’s hands moved around her waist, pulling her closer as he pressed another kiss to her neck, slower this time.
“Tell me what she looks like,” he whispered, his breath trailing down her skin.
Madhavi tilted her head, eyes half-closed. “Mmm… okay. Very fair. Glowing skin. Big eyes. She laughs a lot. Long, thick hair. She’s the kind that sits close, but never makes you sure if she means it.”
She could feel his stiffness hard against her back…
Abhi turned her toward him. The water kept running.
“I’m getting hotter just hearing you describe her,” he said with a grin.
“I could feel that…,” she murmured. Letting her hand cup his stiffness on top of his shorts
“She’s bold. But not easy. You’ll chase her even if you don’t want to.”
