With one final, deep kiss, Abhi lifted her off the counter
His arms strong and sure around her waist, as though he never wanted to let her go.
She pressed against him,
Her body already responding to the heat of his skin,
Her lips parting in a soft gasp as he carried her effortlessly toward the couch.
His lips never left hers, the kiss deep and desperate, full of the hunger they’d both been holding back.
He lowered her onto the couch slowly,
His body following her down as if he were drawn to her in ways words couldn’t explain.
The soft cushions absorbed her weight,
