Friday Morning: Three Currents
Ravi stepped out of his bedroom at 8:30 sharp
Dressed in a neatly pressed pale blue shirt and dark jeans.
A satchel slung over his shoulder, phone in hand,
Hair still slightly damp from the shower.
He looked… well put together. More than usual.
Priya Didi noticed.
She sat at the dining table with her cup of coffee,
Her phone untouched beside her.
Her hair was tied into a soft bun
And she wore a long T-shirt tucked casually into black cotton pants.
Comfortable, graceful—like she always seemed in the mornings.
Except today, there was an added stillness to her eyes.
Not guarded, but watchful.
Ravi’s voice broke the soft silence. “Good morning, Didi.”
She looked up, gave a gentle nod. “Morning.”
He hesitated a beat, as if expecting more.
But she didn’t offer it.
So he moved to the kitchen, poured himself a glass of water.
