Thank you for your review.
I get your take. But I already stated it when I began this story , it will be a bit filmy. I never envisioned this story to be "realistic" in the sense. This story was a pet project for an animated movie for me. I have simply mixed some spicy stuffs and shared the story here. Hemant/Michael's arc is meant to be a grand spectacle. Even the "Heist" arc is supposed to showcase him as this master planner. Now I will admit , the "hyping" thing is getting repetative , and half the reason for that is I am stalling Hemant's full transformation for a certain point in the story. Because once that point of the story is crossed , the action segments will take over to the max. This "WuTang" thing was just a small teaser , once the truth goes out. Many will come.
I can understand the Tamanna's criticism but I have still not revealed an important aspect of her arc in "Voyage Of Love". I was supposed to add the restaurant meet between Hemant and Tamanna and a few other conversations but it stretched a bit longer which is why I am saving it for the next chapter. There was a reason why the Sandeep and Tamanna's intimate encounter was "Short and Sweet" , and the reason will be revealed eventually in their interactions. And for Hemant defending Sandeep , its pretty clear , he is giving him second chance solely because of his history and importance Sandeep's father has in Hemant's life. But he has definitely crossed the breaking point now so Sandeep won't get lucky next time.
As for the girls , well Disha's character always had the crush on Hemant. She used to admire him as her superior for his kind nature , and now that he's got back in shape , there is a different kind of attraction in her. That being said , her attraction is strightly of a "Crush" nature , and not something serious. She does enjoy his closeness but Disha is not the kind of character that will try to seduce or tempt Hemant for a physical relationship because she understands him as person more. As for Meghna , if you seriously think Meghna will try to woo Hemant now then you're sadly mistaken. She is not that type of character. Sure she had a hallucinating sequence , but even by that end , Meghna wasn't thinking about wooing him , she just uncovered a new layer to ruin her best friend's life further.
As for Sonarika , the idea of polygamy for her is her mind making the excuses for her decisions. She is lost in her temptations just like many of the married women in society. And right now her mind is clouded to make any rational decisions before her because she is tempted by both her paths. Not to forget , Sonarika didn't even think about Vikram on her special day , her mind was involved with her family and even having intimate encounters with Hemant. It was only until Meghna arrived with a present from Vikram that her mind thought about him. Even Mouni taunted her with Vikram and she wasn't bothered by it. Because deep down Sonarika knows the real truth about herself , her attraction towards Vikram is purely sexual but Vikram isn't seeking just a sexual relationship. This is Sonarika's consequence that looms before her , if she chooses Vikram , her family will be forever fractured. If she chooses Hemant , she will break and ruin Vikram's heart and feelings. Either way she will be responsible for someone's terrible fate. But she is not seeing that path before her , because her mind is clouded with the duality of her heart and no Ragini present to bring her to the ground.
Last and foremost , another important thing I would like to add , Hemant's arc might seem like everyone is appreciating him. For example , the Manish Malhotra bash angle was written in a way to not show that Hemant was turning some "Alpha" in his own might. But rather , the trauma and PTSD that still haunts him. For a rational person , fame is a blessing and a great gift. But for Hemant , it looms like a curse , as it only brings pain to his life. Even in the highest point of his life , he is haunted by the dark past and it gives the character the perfect mix of depth and at the same time vibrance. And that is the point of this story. This story is not just about a cheating angle , or just some adultery saga. The title is literally "Love , Sex and War"
So don't expect a "realistic" approach to a story where there is a rising businessman and ex-kingpin planning a heist on the the city's most secure infrastructure owned by the richest family in the country who also has ties to an international drug peddling syndicate and that very syndicate members are scared of this same "Ex-Kingpin" who once kicked their asses with his faction. This was always meant to be a larger than life story , just there will be a lot of spice and "Sexual Tadka" involved.
Once again I welcome your criticism.
