Her arms wrapped around his neck
Her forehead resting against his as they paused, eyes locked, chests rising together.
“Abhi…” she breathed
Her voice thin with feeling, “this morning… it’s different.”
He nodded slowly. “I know.”
“It’s not yoga anymore,” she whispered.
“It stopped being yoga the moment you let me hold you like this.”
She smiled, her lips still brushing his. “I don’t want to stop…”
His hands slid up her back slowly, reverent. “Then don’t.”
She leaned in again
Another kiss
This one more urgent,
Her body pressing closer now,
Molded to him completely.
His hands cradled her waist, his lips never leaving hers.
The room began to dissolve, no mat, no clock, no morning light.
Just the pressure of skin
The heat of breath
The impossibly beautiful ache of anticipation.
