Shut, lashes trembling.
She wasn’t pulling away.
If anything, she was leaning in.
Sucking his fingers lightly...
Her tongue brushing his fingers
It felt unreal...
He withdrew his fingers slowly, deliberately.
But as he did, he let them drag along her lips
Coating them, tasting her in reverse.
His thumb followed again, slower now,
Sliding across the fullness of her mouth before resting at the corner of it
Reluctant to let go.
Her lips glistened, parted, kissed by the echo of his touch.
As his fingers slipped from her mouth
Warm, damp, and trembling slightly from the softness they’d just explored
Abhi held them there for a heartbeat, suspended between them like a secret.
Then, without looking away
