" Rakesh I really feel scared , I just heard from the maid there has been murders in the township as well " Sneha sounded worried

Rakesh laughed " it's that age Sneha..stop being an overprotective mother .. "
" I don't know.. but Rakesh you be please careful.. atleast till this election and all this non sense madness is over .. when your inspection will be over this time ?"

" This weekend , the ministry has ordered a probe for all the corruption.. "

" Holy Fuck ! You will be away this weekend as well ?" Sneha was slightly irritated

" Honey.. this is the last weekend promise .. what to do the ministry ... "

" It's okay .. you tell the same thing every week " Sneha interrupted..
" Ok .madam .. let me tell you something nice , next to next weekend I have booked a trip in Manali " Rakesh smiled

That weekend Sneha was herself busy working for some office presentation.

Sneha asked Dhruv on Sunday morning " Dhruv you have been in the house all through the weekend , you did not go for tuitions as well .. All ok ?"

Dhruv kind of hesitated " yes momma.. tuition teacher was going to the doctor .. so he gave a leave !"
" Dhruv.. are you telling me the truth ? " Sneha sensed Dhruv was lying

How can Dhruv tell the truth ? The reality was recently Suleman and the gang have also enrolled for the same tuition classes and Dhruv gets the same treatment from the gang here as well as he gets in the s-c-h-o-o-l . how can the poor kid go to tuition classes now ?

" No no momma.. you can check with the teacher .. plus there is lot of homework , so I decided to stay back and complete those "

" Okay ..beta ..I don't know what is true . But sitting inside home the whole day is not good for health , let's do something there is a nice mall on the highway .I have to get my blouse stitched for my friend's wedding....Will you come with me in the evening ? "

Dhruv smiled " okay momma .. but you have to give me a pizza treat "

" Enough junk food you have already eaten this week , no more Pizza or colas Dhruv " Sneha scolded

The mall looked cheap from outside or inside compared to any malls in a big city in India . But atleast , the place had a whiff of fresh air which Sneha enjoyed.
As , they were about to enter the mall , Dhruv saw Moinuddin uncle carrying large scraps of iron into the basement area.

Sneha greeted as he came near " aree Moinuddin saab , what a pleasant surprise"
" Salaam Bhabhi .. you guys here for a movie ?"
" No Moinuddin saab .. I have a friend's wedding next week, so in here for some shopping "
" Oh okay madam ..how are you Dhruv beta ?"
" I am good uncle !" Dhruv looked a bit shy
" Moinuddin saab , you have your office here ?" Sneha asked looking at the scrap materials he was carrying ..
" No.. we store the scrap in the basement of the mall so that trucks can come and take those to Delhi "
" Oh okay.. sorry Moinuddin saab , I did not realize you had such a heavy weight on your hand , you please carry on , we will check out the mall in the meantime"
Sneha smiled adjusting her beautiful long hair .

" No no ..it's okay madam .. Dhruv beta ..there is a kids play zone upstairs..you will love it I think , I know the manager of the play zone .. "
Dhruv did not want to take any favour from Moinuddin uncle because his son Suleman has been such a big bully and torments him everyday .. he hates both Moinuddin and suleman to the core

He hesitated and said " No uncle , it's okay "

" Beta are you scared of fast bowling ?' he he " Moinuddin grinned
" There is a bowling machine here... kids love it , but today is Sunday so there is a very long queue , but since I know the manager I can help you beta "

Dhruv looked at Sneha
Sneha asked " hope he won't get hurt Moinuddin saab "

Dhruv was a weak and thin boy , never good in sports , mainly the reason he gets bullied in class , so he was damn scared but couldn't say so to Moinuddin uncle.

Dhruv felt Moinuddin uncle had a good clout over the manager , since the manager at once ensured Dhruv beat the queue and go right into the turf . As he geared up to play , he saw his mom and Moinuddin uncle standing next to each other and chatting. Dhruv quite distinctively felt Moinuddin was quietly oogling at Sneha. There was nothing indecent in the way Sneha was dressed that day - a simple kurti paired with a tight denim jeans ! Dhruv went back to the turf again , this time his discomfort increased a bit , what was the need for momma to have coffee with Moinuddin uncle? Only if his momma knew how much pain his son Suleman gives him !!

Meanwhile, Sneha and Moin chatted intensely as they were having sugar filled cup of cappuccinos . Sneha hated the coffee , but liked the conversation.

" So Ruksana bhabhi do shopping from here only Moin saab ?"
" No not much Sneha ji.. we generally go to the market next to railway station, but this mall also has nice shops "
" Hmm.. is it so ? Actually there is my friends wedding next month , hence I was looking to buy few stuff ! "
" Madam . ofcourse not like your South Delhi posh malls.. but there are good brands here"
" Okay.. but frankly Moin saab , I find it very difficult to shop in Azamgarh , I largely depend on foreign brands that I buy online..but how much will I depend on online sites "
" There are good shops here too , just that not too many people know them .."
" Are you sure Moinuddin sahab?"
" Yes , you can try out once and see for yourself , come let me show you around "
" Yea but dhruv is still in the play zone "
" Yea..don't worry about him .. I have told the manager to keep an eye on him "
" Are you sure Dhruv won't search for us ?"
" No no . the match will go on for one more hour .."

They passed through a dark passage and came behind the mall onto a smaller dilapidated building. This looked like a traditional shopping complex , the ones usually seen next to small railway stations and bazaars.

" Are you sure this is a good place ? " Sneha was hesitant seeing the place
" You need to try this out once ."

" Ok .. I really need to get few blouse stitched for the wedding..but it's just next week .. do you think the guy will be able to help ?"

Moinuddin smiled " he is not a guy.. he is an old man , people say there is magic in his hands , I will tell him to urgently do it for you !"

The shop was a small one , and there were already few customers there ..The old man sitting behind the stitching machine looked to be atleast 60 years old. He had very thick glasses , and it appeared he was blind without the glasses. It must be due to the strain tailoring puts on eyes. He looked weak and lost and his hands trembled as he worked. Sneha felt a little sorry for the old man toiling hard for money even at this age..
" Salaam master ji .. " moin greeted him
" Salaam moin .."
" Master ji.. this is sneha madam , my friend's wife .. they are new to Azamgarh"

The old tailor was taking measurement of a man who had come to stich a pathani suit .
" What Moin ? You guys , Ruksana bhabhi don't come to my shop these days ?" The old tailor seemed moody and rude in the way he was speaking !
" Aree master ji , my wife is now old , she does not need so many new blouse " Moin winked
The old man laughed
" So what do you wanna stich madam ? I will take measurement of this bhaisaab and then look into yours " The tailor tried to stand up
" I just wanted to stich few blouses for a wedding..it's just one week left "
" Oh ok madam.. I can do fast , but will charge 50% extra "
" Master ji , you have become a dacoit these days " Moin laughed as the man whose measurements, the old tailor was taking also joined in..
" Mat bolo bhaisaab, This master ji is a real daku , he loots all customers" the man also complained light heartedly

Sneha whispered to Moin " hey I really need my blouse stitched within few days , I am ok for the extra ..please dont piss off the man . He already seems so moody and hot headed "

She nodded and said " it's okay bhaisaab .. I m okay to pay you even double , but I need it fast "

The old tailor grinned .
" madam.. so what type would you prefer ? "
" I would prefer something around sleeveless.. "
" Okay " the old tailor got up and started limping .. he used an old crutch to support his body weight .. Sneha observed his one leg is deformed and thats why he was using a crutch ..

He came right across Sneha and looked up in the showcase above ..
Moin saw him and asked " Masterji why don't you use a wheelchair?"
" Nahi Moin saab , using crutch is far better .. there are few designs of sleeveless blouses at the top shelf..Yea right there .. can you help me get them ?"

" Hmm master ji .. you go and sit down , I will get it "

Moin stood up a stool and picked out few pieces from the shelf above..

"Which one ?"

Sneha saw the blouses in his hand and answered " Moinuddin saab.. you can get the white one , or any light colored ones will do "

" There are many light colored ones madam .." the tailor pointed to Moin.. " saab look at the one to the left of yours "

Sneha looked around a bit and asked " Bhaisaab the trial room ?"

The old tailor limped across and pointed to a small enclosure " Here !"

Sneha was confused , it was just a small enclosure with a white curtain and not any room !

Sneha reacted sharply " Excuse me ? This one ?"

" Yaa madam .. I am just a tailor ..where I will get a proper trial room "

Sneha looked irritated and whispered to Moin " what the hell is this ? shops don't even have trial rooms here !! "

Moin came to the corner and whispered back " Tailors here dont have proper trial rooms , if trial room is a big issue you can try out the showroom in the mall , but they can't ever deliver your blouse in few days , you still wanna try out once ?"

Sneha sighed " What's the point of that if they can't make it fast , the wedding is next Friday .."

Moin went straight to the point " Then you don't have a choice "

Sneha hesitatingly said " And how can I try out the blouse with the shop full of men " She was indicating at the two men who were still there and arguing with the old tailor over price ..

Masterji sensed Sneha's discomfort to try out the blouses with the shop teeming with men .. he said " Bhaisaab , I have to go for my prayers now .. come later pls "
The two men looked at him and left after saying " okay will come back after lunch , but your price we don't agree "

Once they left , Moin said " now you can try "
Sneha just nodded " hmm " ..she looked at masterji and said " Just ensure these guys don't come back when I am inside "

Sneha's heart raced faster when she went to the other side of the curtain, she would have to practically strip off her kurti inside that place, that enclosure had no doors or whatsoever, just a flimsy curtain !
