As the bedroom door closed softly, Mani returned—Vanitha stood before the bed, head bowed, silent. Her sheer black saree shimmered in the dim light, her navel visible through the translucent fabric. Mani faced her, his eyes scanning her from head to toe, lingering on her waist and navel. Brimming with excitement, he spoke.

Mani: "Madam, you smell amazing."
