for a man on a mission to uncover the truth ... its odd that he did not pursue the matter more at the chemist shop ... all he had to do was buy a strip and make small talk ... a neutral question like - is it effective ... could get the ball rolling ... and even otherwise, once he had a new strip he could have found out what those tablets were actually for ... seems sloppy to me ... or maybe just a typical ploy of the writer to prolong the mystery ... as many are wont to do nowadays ...

well will visit after a few months to see if the writer continues ... too many unfinished stories ... work illness ... typical pattern ...
