Although all was fixed, at the back of my mind I was still thinking this could go wrong somewhere, as it would generally happen, however, I went ahead, and we were supposed to meet in the evening, as I had my work to be finished in the morning. So, we both booked rooms in the same resort, although we paid for it individually, as we were traveling at different times. I went ahead in the day and checked in the room, I did not ask the reception whether there was any such booking (of them) or not, however, I wanted to, for my confirmation, but I couldn’t.
However, I went ahead with my work, and my whole mind was on this “special meeting”, which I was praying to happen. I was watching the phone, and as you all know, when we wait for the time, the time passes very slowly, and the same thing was happening to me, I was watching the time every five minutes, and bang, suddenly I received a text, stating they reached the resort.
Until this point in time, we had not exchanged each other's phone numbers, and we were just talking via the Telegram app. Out of curiosity, I asked for their room number, I don’t know what they might have thought, but after getting the confirmation, I was like “OK”, this is happening, and it’s all real and I was a bit relaxed.
So I went back to my work, and now, there was nothing to see the time, so I tried to finish the work peacefully, however was excited from inside and imagined things that could happen, or I would make them happen. I finished the work, reached the resort, got fresh, and as we planned, we scheduled to meet at the restaurant in the resort, they pinged me to reach around 7 PM. Due to nervousness, nobody was actually in a hurry and were taking their own time. Out of curiosity/foolishness, I asked them how would I recognize them. They said they were the only ones present in the restaurant, and it was easy for me, however, I told them the color of the shirt I was wearing and went ahead.
Still, at the back of my mind, all things kept playing around, I was nervous, skeptical, thrilled, and also there was a little fear, that something might go wrong, and all of that sort. Although I was walking from my room to the restaurant within the resort, I thought I was taking a marathon, the marathon of thoughts within me.
