Meera’s Internal Struggle

As Meera rested in bed beside her husband, she felt a strong feeling of guilt and betrayal. She always regarded Riya as a younger sister, a person to guard and support. Now, they were caught in a situation of deceit and disgrace. The vision of Riya's purity and vulnerability troubled her, linking with the disturbing memories of her encounter with Arjun and Vikram.


Meera's body still tingled with the emotions from an earlier meeting, a puzzling blend of excitement and guilt. How could a married woman be drawn to the roughness they had shown her? The contrast between her husband's gentle love and the unexpected thrill of their demands was a stark reminder of her desires.


She closed her eyes, wishing she could forget the meeting, but the memories replayed in her mind like a loop. Why had she allowed them to kiss her so intimately? Why had she given in to their demands?  Yet, she was furious at Riya for leading them down this path. In a way, Meera felt that Riya's innocence had opened the door to this mess, allowing Arjun and Vikram to manipulate her.


As she shifted in bed, she couldn't help but contemplate how Riya had caught herself in this dangerous game with Shankar and the construction workers. How could Riya be so blind to the potential consequences of her actions? The anger boiled inside her, directed at Riya.


Her husband stirred beside her, but she couldn't share all that she was facing. She could not tell him about the Riya video with Shankar and her own video with Arjun and Vikram. What would he think? Would he still see her as the loving wife he married? The thought of his disappointment made her chest tighten. She turned away from him, staring into the gloom, struggling with the reality of their situation.


In the end, Meera felt trapped. She & Riya had to confront the mess they were both in. She could not go to her husband or her father-in-law for this issue. She could not share this with the security officer, either, as everybody would come to know.  As sleep eluded her, Meera vowed to find a way to protect Riya.
