What motivates Vanitha's actions. She has a loving and supportive husband and a wonderful family. Her sex life with her husband seems to be good and yet she gave in rather easily to Ankit. Normally she should have been wracked with guilt but she not only continued to engage in illicit sex she indulged in it without a second thought. Her purported feelings of guilt didn't seem genuine but rather something to assuage her feelings. It would be interesting to see what makes Vanitha what she is. Does the routine of married life bore her and she is seeking excitement though she doesn't realize it. Or deep down she wants to have different experiences and that opportunity that arose with Ankit freed her from her restraints. For now she seems to be practically amoral as she so easily pushes aside any vestiges of guilt. It is going to be interesting on how the author is going to flesh out her character. I would love to see the insights of her thinking.
