Shortly after entering, a
young Tamil couple—Raja and Suba—approached them. Raja wore a casual shirt and
jeans, his face lit with a friendly smile. Suba, in a green churidar, her long
hair braided, held an ice cream cone. "Hi! You two look like a super
couple!" Suba said cheerfully, while Raja nodded with a grin. Vanitha and
Angith exchanged a smile and replied softly, "Thanks!" choosing not
to correct the mistaken assumption. "Come on, we’re heading to the haunted
house—want to join?" Raja invited. The four of them formed a group and
began exploring the rides together.
Haunted House Ride:
The entrance to the haunted house resembled an old wooden mansion, a skull-shaped
sign reading "Beware" posted out front. Inside, darkness swallowed
them, a thin mist cloaking the floor to create an eerie vibe. A self-playing
piano’s slow tune echoed as a puppet ghost suddenly dropped from above, yelling
"Boo!" Vanitha flinched, clutching Angith’s chest tightly. Her
fingers gripped his shirt, her face burying into his shoulder. His left arm
wrapped around her, his voice low and soothing, "Don’t be scared, it’s all
fake." Her breath grazed his neck, sending a subtle heat through him. Suba
and Raja walked ahead, laughing, "This is too easy!" they shouted,
but Vanitha and Angith clung to each other, moving slowly. When a masked ghost
lunged from a corner, Vanitha squeezed his hand harder, whispering,
"Angith, look!" He hugged her closer, chuckling, "I’ve got
you." In that darkness, a new closeness bloomed between them.
Roller Coaster:
Next, they headed to the roller coaster. Its towering track, painted red and
yellow, stretched skyward like it could touch the clouds. The four sat in a
row—Raja in front, Suba beside him, Vanitha in the middle, and Angith next to
her. As the ride began, the train climbed slowly, hit the peak, and plunged
downward. Wind slapped their faces, Vanitha’s hair flying as she shut her eyes
and gripped Angith’s right hand tightly. His fingers laced with hers, offering
a sense of safety. "Angith, I’m scared!" she yelled. He squeezed her
hand, laughing, "I won’t let go." As the train whipped through turns,
their bodies pressed together, a mix of thrill and intimacy surging between
them. When the ride ended and they stepped off, Vanitha still held his hand,
her eyes reflecting both fear and joy.
Water Ride:
Raja and Suba led them to the water ride area, centered around a large pool
with an artificial waterfall crashing noisily in the middle. Nearby, a dancing
fountain glowed with colored lights, water swaying to music. They went to a
changing room to switch outfits. Vanitha emerged in a black one-piece swimsuit
that hugged her body, subtly revealing her hips and giving her an elegant,
poised look. She tied her hair into a small bun, crossing her arms over her
chest with a shy smile as she stepped out. Angith wore black shorts, his bare
torso exposing a solid chest and broad shoulders. Sunlight glinted off his skin,
giving him a healthy, radiant glow.
In the dancing fountain,
music played softly as the four waded in, water lapping at their waists.
Vanitha and Angith glanced at each other and smiled. His hands gently gripped
her hips, pulling her close as he swayed with her to the rhythm. Her hands
rested on his shoulders, their bodies brushing, the water’s coolness clashing
with their warmth in a tantalizing contrast. "You dance so well!"
Suba called out. Vanitha laughed, "So do you!" Then they moved to the
waterfall. Beneath it, a small secluded spot offered calm amid the gentle
cascade. Raja and Suba joined them briefly, enjoying the water, before excusing
themselves: "We’ve got an urgent errand—sorry, we’ll be back!" They
left.
Now alone under the
waterfall, Vanitha and Angith stood as water fell around them, forming a soft
curtain that shielded them from the outside. He stepped closer, taking her
hands gently. "Vanitha, this place feels so beautiful with you here,"
he said in a low voice. Her eyes met his, a faint smile blooming as she replied
softly, "You too." His face neared hers, their lips meeting in a
tender kiss. His arms wrapped around her hips, pressing her against him in the
water. The damp fabric of her swimsuit clung to his skin, his chest grazing
hers. The sound of the water enveloped them, deepening their connection. His
fingers traced her back, pulling her tighter. Their kiss grew slowly, drawing
them into a private world, though they didn’t push toward full union. Instead,
they lingered in that gentle moment, feeling each other, soaked and entwined in
the water’s embrace.
