As soon as she walked out Sid stood up in silence and there was no excitement on his face.
“Well how is it?” she asked.
Sid gave out an uneasy smile and said, “Great bhabhi great.”
“I need to go now. “ he said which caught Ruby off guard.
“What? There are more.” before she could finish her sentence Sid said, “I need to go now” and started walking towards the door.
Ruby was puzzled.
She noticed that Sid had his right arm behind his lower back and had a limp in his right leg.
Before she could ask, he was gone.
Ruby got very mad at Sid for that.
She walked into her bedroom slamming the door behind her. She changed back into her regular clothes and decided to return all of them to Sid in the morning and stop talking to him completely.
Sid got up very early in the morning, got ready and left for Rohan’s place.
He waited till 8AM and called Ruby.
She answered with an angry voice, “What is it Sid?”
“Sorry for leaving like that last night bhabhi, my back was hurting.”
“Ok..it is okay.” She replied but was still angry.
“Can you please do me a favor bhabhi?” he paused to see her reaction.
“What is it?” she asked still irritated.
“Can you please go to my bedroom and check something for me? I am at the university. I need to get a code from a book.”
Ruby walked to Sid’s room and picked up the book he asked her to get the code from and gave it to him.
Sid thanked her and hung up.
“The wheels will start to turn now!” Sid smiled to himself and started to wait.
Ruby was about to put the book back when she found a package with some papers in it.
She ignored it at first but for some reason started to read.
It looked like something from a hospital. It had the summary of the visit. Some blood works details etc.
Ruby browsed through them and stopped at a hand written note. Looked like from a doctor.
It said “The results came back positive. The injury resulted in a blood clot in the lower back. This would be directly impacted by any pressure in the testicles.”
She did not understand. She walked to her room and googled the word testicles, She was surprised and curious at the same time.
The note had more.
“The pressure in the crotch would directly impact the pressure on the spine because of the newly formed blood clot, thus increasing the chances of permanently damaging the back resulting in the loss of mobility. The reasons for the increased pressure in the crotch at this age would be natural because of obvious reasons. Surgery to remove the blood clot in the lower back is dangerous as it is very close to the back bone. The clot is not permanent and would melt away. But the pressure in the crotch would have to be constantly relieved to avoid further damage until then.”
“For more details please call xxxx number!”
P.S. Please do not take it casually Siddharth as it is dangerous.
Ruby could not process all this in one shot and so had to google a few more things.
She started to worry as the note said something about permanent damage.
Ruby stayed still for a bit trying to wrap her around this.
She then walked to Sid’s apartment and put the package where she found it. She started walking towards the door and stopped in her steps.
She turned around and walked back in. She picked up the package and dialed the number.
No one answered the first time.
She tried again and heard a female voice.
“Hello?”
“Hello..Is this xyz hospital?” Ruby asked.
“Yes?” was the answer.
“I am calling regarding a patient Siddharth.” Ruby said.
“Sorry we cannot discuss patient’s details with others. Are you related to him?”
“Yess.yess. I am his..um..his...brother’s wife.” Ruby said.
“oh..ok then let me pull up his file.” was the answer.
Ruby could hear sounds of some one typing on a key board.
“Ok..I have his file. What is your question?”
“I want to know more about his condition. What is happening to him?” Ruby asked.
“He has abcd condition. “
was the answer.
“What does that mean?” Ruby asked and started to worry.
“Siddharth had an injury recently.”
“yes ..yes to his hands” Ruby replied.
“And to his lower back. He had fallen backwards and hit something hard. It created a clot close to his spine.”
“Does he need medication?” Ruby asked.
“Unfortunately, no. It has to dissolve itself.”
“So no problem then?’ Ruby felt relieved.
“No exactly”
After a long pause the lady on the other side continued.
“Sid is very young and so will have urges.”
“Urges?” Ruby was confused.
“Yes. Urges. Because of those frequent urges, he would feel pressure in his..you ..know..that area.”
“And that is bad when the clot is still there. It could damage his spine.”
“I don’t follow. What do urges mean?” Ruby was so naive.
“Urges madam urges.” the lady sounded irritated.
“You know, sexual needs.”
It started to make sense to Ruby from that point.
“He is young and gets excited and so gets erections. Which puts pressure in his balls. That is bad for this back until the clot dissolves.”
“Then how to stop the urges?” Ruby asked innocently.

“There is no stopping those sexual desires unfortunately for his age.”

“They just would have to be relieved.”

“I did not say anything about being married. I am saying having sex would relieve the pressure and avoid the problem.”

“First, his arms are badly damaged and he cannot do it himself. And second that kind of sexual relief should come from mating with a woman. It is all about removing tension. The intimacy...the closeness..the love is what makes it happen. That will take care of the issue with his testicles. Relieving himself will create more tension.”

“Look madam..I don’t have all day for this. I have to take care of other patients.
