Anyway u r my inspiration to erite story but ur character treatment is different from me

Dear Uma, do you know where the issue truly lies?

As readers, we view the story from a broad lens, knowing details that the characters themselves do not. We understand the motives of every individual, and we have a bird’s-eye view of events unfolding across various locations—Ambruj security officer station, Patode’s lawn, Selim’s dhaba, Alok’s home in Pune, and more. We already know Patode’s plans for Shipra, Toppo’s role in her ordeal, and even how Chetan, Alok’s friend, is present in Ambruj, having seen her photograph through Bhaivab—while Shipra is still oblivious to who Chetan is and the fact that he is a friend of her husband.

Now, step into Shipra’s shoes and consider her perspective. She is living within the story, moving forward one event at a time. She has no knowledge of the discussions between Selim and Patode concerning her, no awareness of Patode’s true intentions, and no suspicion that she is being manipulated for ulterior motives. To her, Patode appears genuine and trustworthy, as she has yet to encounter any red flags or witness anything overtly alarming. She is also unaware of the arrival of a new female SHO in Ambruj, who might play a pivotal role in her journey ahead.

But as readers, we know all of this.

And that is precisely where the fundamental difference lies—the contrast between the omniscient perspective of a reader and the limited awareness of a character. As readers, we are always several steps ahead, able to foresee potential outcomes or even anticipate the story’s ending, but Shipra cannot. She must walk through every moment, experience every twist, and endure every hardship before reaching her destination.

The writer is masterfully constructing this sequence and weaving intricate plotlines through his storytelling. Yet, in reading your comments, I must say—no offense intended—you come across as impatient and overly critical, often jumping to conclusions without considering the logic behind the narrative. Moreover, I sense a certain haste in your comments, a rush to push the story forward rather than allowing it to unfold naturally. Criticism is welcome, and of course, you have every right to share your opinions, which is absolutely fine. However, repeatedly instructing the author on what to do or how characters should behave undermines the creative process. Demanding that the author alter the course of the story disregards the beauty of a carefully woven narrative.

Let’s also acknowledge the author’s effort—despite having a full-time job, he consistently delivers updates, something few writers on this forum do. That commitment alone deserves respect. Moreover, Suraj has repeatedly clarified that this story is not about Shipra’s objectification or whorification, as seen in many other stories on this site that reduce women to mere playthings. Shipra’s journey is one of hardship, resilience, and most probably, eventual triumph. That realism is what makes this story compelling and forms the heart of its narrative.

So, patience is key. Feel free to express your thoughts, but let’s do so with consideration, ensuring our words uplift rather than discourage. After all, every writer, like every character, has a breaking point.
