Ah the classic trope of housewife blaming her marriage the main reason for her cheating. Alok is an asshole but so is Patode. So one is tending to her needs and other is busy elsewhere so does that mean Husband is responsible for the state she is in, I doubt that.

Shipra expecting her husband to dominate her and prove it to her that their love is worth fighting for and which should in turn give her strength to claw back to her life as wife, lover and mother. Its a selfish need which the provider doesn't even have clue at the state she is in right now. So can you expect Alok to save her?

It's always personal duty to make sure they are loyal to their partners not the duty of partners to prove it to them time and again what matters in their love and marriage. Alok is busy and inconsiderate but so is Shipra for a time being away from Alok in phone calls and unavailable while playing games with Patode and Namratha.

She knows very well the state of their home affairs, Alok needs to crack the exam for their future and so does she, need to get the promotion but who comes out of it with out compromising is real test but looks like Shipra already failed in it. Lets see if Alok can become collector for that district in future to save his wife.
