The next day,  Monday was the first day of a new working week, and a typical working day. Both Somrita and Rupanjan woke up early, had breakfast, took bath, and got ready to leave for their respective work places. Somrita wore a long black skirt extending little below her knees, and a Full sleeve white formal shirt. Somrita worked in a Real Estate Company.  She reached her office on time and saw that she was one of the earliest employees to have reached the office, and felt good about it. She kept her small bag at her desk, and went to the ladies washroom. After a few minutes, she returned to her desk. On the way she greeted some of her colleagues.  Then she started working.  After few hours, just before lunch time was approaching, the Managing Director of the Company and the Operations Head of the Company asked everyone to stop working as the Awards for the Performances of the previous month were to be announced. Several Employees won Awards.  The Best performing teams also won Awards. Somrita won the Best Performer of the Month Award,  but one another employee also won the Award along with her. It was Rakesh. The Best Performer of the Month Award was shared between Somrita and Rakesh. Then it was Lunch time. At the Cafeteria,  while Somrita was eating, she saw Rakesh coming inside the Cafeteria. He was wearing a Full sleeve Grey Formal Shirt and Black Trouser , and was looking quite Stylish and Smart. She was looking at him, and Rakesh also looked at her . Somrita then stopped looking at him and looked towards her food and got busy eating.  Rakesh came towards her , and said- Congratulations for the Award ! . Somrita looked at hum, and replied - Congratulations to you too ! . Rakesh smiled and forwarded his hand for a handshake. Somrita also smiled, and brought her hand forward to shake hands with him. Rakesh took Somrita's hand in his hand in a warm, professional manner and with a firm grip, and shaked her hand. Somrita felt his firm grip on her hand. Then he freed her hand from his grip, excused himself and walked away. Somrita was still feeling the firmness, the hardness, the warmth of his hand's grip over her hand. She then controlled her thoughts, finished her lunch and returned to her desk to work. It was announced that on Saturday, there will be a Friendly Football match of the Company between two teams of male employees at the Sports ground near to the office, and a lunch would be hosted for all employees of the office.                                                                                                        In the late evening,  Somrita returned home and was welcomed by her husband Rupanjan who had returned half an hour before her. Somrita showed him her Best Performer of the Month Award, and Rupanjan congratulated her, saying - WOW ! Congratulations Soma ! I am proud of you ! He hugged her and kissed her on her cheeks. Rupanjan then said - Soma, this Friday night I have to leave the city along with my partner Ashish for two weeks  for a project in Uttarakhand.  It is a big project.  Somrita gave a sombre facial expression,  and said- I will miss you darling for 2 weeks but I know it's important for you , for the company,  you guys need the project. So Best of luck darling ! .
