My intention is not to drag you back from writing story, The arc is eerily similar and also you have been advocating a glorious ending for hero in all other stories so felt you have written the story by keeping that ending in your mind so was asking you to bring lot of unpredictability into the story so even though your ending as planned is written but is justified and natural hence my comment, Unfortunately not all see that way and jump to conclusions. Anyways I like the writing style so far despite the similarities.

Well , my hero is not exactly a full on good guy in this story. I always prefer the  "Gray" character approach. Ever since the first chapter , I've insinuated hints that Hemant is often 'portrayed' as a good man but there is a lot of underlying secrets associated to him. There is a dark past that he has buried to start this new life. So in a way , my approach was this push of improvement in this character results in a consequence to confront his past and there is an underlying danger that he might succumb to that darkness. In a way , when my character goes through a change and evolve,  he is not exactly getting just the accolades and gifts of his success but also the situation to confront the sins of his past. And this gives the character another opportunity to grow. The similarity came when accidentally I gave similar traits to my character from another story. Well one difference I can say for now is wife and boyfriend are in the same age group LOL. But I will be implementing certain interesting ideas in the future for Vikram.
