I am so disappointed by Nadir's behaviour that for the first time - since I have been following and
reading this life story - I feel a sense of dissatisfaction, of incomprehension.
The fact that he finds the naughty child's insolence towards Meena ‘funny’, even ‘exciting’, can no
longer be explained by ‘common sense’, he is living in his fantasy-utopia absolutely far removed
from reality!
Has he been abandoned by all good spirits ?
And if he even ends up pushing Meena into a sexual game with that piglet Cyrus, I will think
‘twice’ about whether Nadir is really ‘still’ right and whether everything is above board with him.
Because for me - as a fan, reader and friend of the two main protogonists Nadir and Meena- that
would be the limit of what is reasonable !...
