Harry, my friend, your analysis is driven out of sympathy for Kunal and anger for Esha..keep those out and you will get clarity that Esha's affair is not just an affair and it clearly has lot of depth more than physical relationship.
She is totally invested into it with heart and though she misses her old Kunal from college and lot of those memories will definitely haunt her as the life imagined together is ruined now but her life with Aniket is not inorganic or unnatural.It would have been if Aniket is only seeking her physically but that was not the case so far so I believe she will be fine long term unless she loses the baby or Aniket in future, so your wishes to see her suffer and realize her mistakes might not be a big deal at the end, Yes when she understands Priya's manipulation she might regret her choices, which she also does now so nothing different.

As for Kunal, he will try to manipulate Priya now and needs to be beat her in her own game. That's main objective for him, while taking care of Aditya. He will lose custody and has to co parent Aditya with Esha so he will be forced to keep his anger in check and I can see eventually he will come to see her choices in a better way and probably makes peace with her cheating. This would happen soon when he realizes that Esha is just a pawn in Priya's game.

That's the happy path but there could be twists..

This is the first time I completely disagree with you , even if I take away my feelings towards these characters. I cannot help but see the bigger wrong on what Esha has indeed done and I believe she deserves worse consequences for her actions. If we are seriously going to gift her a good future for the cruel adultery she did then this story is nothing more than just a blatant MISANDRY porn.

I can accept your perspective of the end of the story as long as there is a bright ending for Kunal's character as well like a new life partner or a family of his own , because lets face it from the start , if you consider all the events, he is the one that has been taking loss after loss. First his wife cheats him , then he is being blamed for her cheating , despite not being his fault he pushes for change in himself and tries his best to be a better partner for Esha , and despite all of his attempts to bring more love in their relationship Esha still chose Aniket to the point she became pregnant , and to top that she wasn't willing to divorce Kunal claiming she "isn't choosing" but her action says otherwise. Now when the divorce is happening , Aditya is now being part of a co parenting plan which means Kunal will have to live the rest of his life close to Esha and see her be happy and joyous with her new partner and raise a new child with him. Just tell me genuinely RCF , you really think this is fair for Kunal's character? To endure all of this and now have to be close with a woman who no longer loves him or cares for him.

And now if what you sujjest does happen and Kunal plays this game and gets his revenge on Priya and exposes her to Esha. And even after that Esha chooses Aniket over him. Would that be justification for Kunal in any way? 

However I must say I am definitely not a fan of Kunal being written as such a cliche in this story. He is often showcased as an honest family man with morals and values , like this part is like forcing the instance that he is an all in all good guy , to be frank I hate when male characters are written that way , some flaws are definitely needed. And to be honest now I kind of like his arc because the good guy act is done since Kunal's actions are driven by hate , rage and hurt. Which is why I believe even if he gets his revenge and ends Priya for good , he deserves a life after it. Maybe he completely walks away from Aditya and Esha's life , that will be an interesting consequence where then Esha will have to bear the burden of raising Aditya on her own and the child's turmoil on not seeing his father again. In my opinion the best happy ending will be when Aditya grows up he permanently leaves Esha's side and goes to Kunal as he will learn that his mother wasn't fair to his dad. That can bring a wonderful epilogue that Esha despite having a happy life with Aniket and this new child will never earn the respect from Aditya because after learning the truth growing up he can never forgive Esha for her actions..

Like I said I can accept the ending as long as Kunal's character gets a pay off , if not then this becomes another product for Masochism lovers.
