In such situations often people take hasty decisions which coumd end up in irreparable damage.
Our characters are showing remarkable resilience
Yeah but in this story it is way worse. Because not only the wife cheats on husband , she literally gets pregnant with another man and is refusing to divorce her husband for some reason. And to top that , even now after the divorce is finally happening , the wife still get a happy life with no consequence to her actions as she is getting her time to spend with her child she had with her husband while at the same time about to give birth to another child with another man and raise it as well. Even though society and people with brains will side with Kunal because he was a victim to many extent , he is still becoming a looser in this whole scenario. Unless the character takes a route of improvement and moving on from his wife , I don't see the point of his character arc. Its basically pointless to put him in this story right now because in many ways, the story insinuates that Kunal is a failure in every sense. Indirectly the story is setting up Kunal to become the male chauvinist that Priya claims him to be. And that in my eyes is total character assasination. A bigger fumble than Jon Snow in Game Of Thrones.
