Also, her saying that the child is krish with certainty is not believable, she had sex with Desai before as well during her fertile period, and pills are not one hundred percent successful .
Even the language/dialogue used by Meera was not something she usually speaks, she is generally mild manner. there was no dialogue /reconciliation etc. When she left the house for Alpine Heights, she said Krish and Desai are different sides of the same coin, next appearance we see she is pregnant and he and Krish are magically together again
I would not have minded any outcome of the story, but this is a weak ending to an otherwise great story. Is this an improvement to the last ending, I don't think so.
I think the author got just bored with the story/characters
It was never loose writing, His writing is exceptional even now...I feel when Krish_999 thought about rewriting it, he got an idea of making Desai a cuckold instead of bad person which is per-determined and rest is developed accordingly. As we go into past before in many chapters when Krish fell down the balcony and was bed ridden, we have seen glimpses of how possessive Desai was about Meera, In parties that he took Meera alone, Even one time Meera mentioned that Desai is not like Krish and he has good balance of possessiveness and caring. I thought all these days that Meera got attracted to Desai so much because the qualities she found in him are something that she missed in Krish and it involves esp not being a cuckold and being possessive, attentive and not treat her as object of fantasy as main qualities.
All of a sudden that perception got crushed in last chapter and it turned out him to be like Krish and hence this plot did not sit with me well. If its not for those qualities why would Meera connect with Desai so well?
Ultimately, Meera became some one who is poor in judgement of character and Krish is some one who became a fool to sacrifice in the end and got blamed for it as coward instead of being selfless, both were thrown out of the house, Last chapter kind undone all the good the previous one did in this story.
Also I do not think taking pill or not is a big loose end. She is going through so much at that time so its understandable that she might have been alone and depressed. As far as whose child it as all readers are asking, that's too much. Obviously Desai did not cum inside her how would he get Meera pregnant over Krish who filled her completely.
Three main things that need to be explained before this chapter were 1. Meera and Desai bond 2. Krish's fantasies 3. Krish and Meera sex life going forward 4. How to make Desai villain and get him out of system for couple.
None of them were answered properly.
-Bond ignored conveniently
-Fantasies will be there forever..maybe Krish will change temporarily because he has seen so much pain but that side of him won't be dead forever as couple acknowledged in the end.
-Krish again left Meera dry when he fucked her in last chapter, she orgasm later after Krish so Krish is still inadequate for her in terms of sex. He can never fill her like Desai and none of those things are really touched or explained. So we should assume that Meera should be happy and be content with love and what ever Krish can provide her.
- Desai was made cuckold, even though the plot was weak the writing around it to make Meera see it is exceptional.
Only if the chapter did not end abruptly after Krish's return from Pilgrimage and if there has a few pages of emotional connect written for couple instead of pregnancy it would have been so good, Pregnancy news could be last paragraph to end it beautifully after the reunion.
Its important for Meera to acknowledge and explain why she is taking Krish back after yelling at both of them for being cuckold, Without that she would seem superficial and hypocrite, what happens if Desai comes back and asks her why she let Krish back and threw him out if both of us are same coin, is it just because she loves Krish or because she got pregnant? Doesn't it seem a genuine question from Desai..though he won't cross paths again. Instead of answering this author used pregnancy to connect the couple which I felt was an OK ending like a 1000 wala fizzled out with out the dhamaka.
