When I was I used to tell a story to my younger cousin. And it goes like this.. there was an ant and it was feeling hungry and it went outside, found a pile of sugar and he grabbed a single piece of sugar and carried it back all the way to his home and again he went outside and went all the way to the pile and picked another piece of sugar and brought it back. So the story goes on and on until the cousin gets tired and sleep off. I can relate this story to the similar kind. This will continue until we stop reading it. Man how many characters are there in this story.  More and more characters. What are you planning to say brother

I see that you have posted a comment for the first time, never once to appreciate, but to criticize. You have the right to criticize, but probably you do not know that each reader has different taste. You may stop reading my story if you don't like it. I cannot fulfil everybody's taste. I also take your point that repeating of sequences may be tiresome. Maybe 1 in 100 like it. I  presume 40 is pass mark. I need to make sure if my story has takers before I continue writing. Btw, I like your analogy.
