However, my concern is not about how 'well-written' Desai’s arc is, but about how the story risks justifying his actions. Just because someone’s scheme is well-planned doesn’t make it any less toxic, destructive, or cruel.

I was the first one to call out on Desai's manipulations after chapter 48, So Why would I want him to get a free hand at the end of the day. He will be exposed for sure. I was only defending Krish_999 plot where he wanted to glorify Desai until the end and then expose him. In order to get there, he will be cleaned of his sins and make him a good person.

Yes, Meera saw through his intentions after his mistake of seeking her for himself despite his promise that he won't ever do it. So she now sees his selfish nature.
