Its not about taking expected route nor its about giving an outcome that no one can anticipate. Its about doing justice to the characters. If you read all three parts together then you will understand one simple fact that Krish will only move on from Meera ever only if he believes that she has some one in her life, Here he thinks its Desai but we all know that's not true. If he knew Desai is not in the picture maybe he would give his 100% effort to not be a cuckold for Meera if she insists on it which she never did till now. With out even exploring that option in the story even once, how can we conclude that only logical ending is to split them.
So why would they split and how will Krish survive with out her if he knows she doesn't love Desai? You think that's realistic ending but I think that ending has proven wrong last time. So its not about repeating that ending but give a meaning to their love story at the end.
Irrespective , what we think author knows how to end it. Lets see what is in store for last chapter.
