I hope the ending is more nuanced and the real complexities of love is what's explored in the last chapter. Separation I think is what is needed for Krish and Meera and Desai, to live more fulfiling lives without each other, than living in this turmoil where all are manipulating each other.
I would honestly take a fairytale ending over a realistic one because lets face it nothing in this relationship can be deemed "realistic" for the things they have done. To make the couple go through all the hurdles of life and have them separate is a very condescending ending. I would accept a separation ending only if there is spin off where we will see Krish's next adventure in his life finding love or some other thing rather than end the story with Meera and Krish going separate ways. The separation negates the whole purpose and idea of the story. They set the story up where the couple eventually finds their way to each other and it should be the ideal ending. But there should be change , their way of life and their mindset must change. No more cuckolding , no more kinks. Only kink allowed in their life should be their love for each other thats it. That is the best ending for them , for them to choose each other and forever hold onto each other in this lifetime.
