I hope the author is making good use of the extra time he asked to post the final chapter.
Unlike some of our fellow readers are saying I dont want a good ending just for the sake of it (no harm caused by that view). I want the author to be convincing about how he ends the story and in that my choice is a good ending.

Here is my take on that...Like I said before on the author writing justifying end for his series. He will know better about these characters than anyone else here, so I would take any ending with out a question. If author can explain love between the couple so well and explain the pain in their separation , then he will be easily able to explain Meera's bond with Desai as well.

Key is for Krish to change his mindset and believe he can be the person that Meera needs in her life. If he believes her and believes in himself then he will easily believe that Desai is not needed for her in her life. At the same time, for Krish to believe that, Meera needs to help him understand her bond with Desai better and make him understand why she could let it go in grand scheme of things.
