So many interesting comment and perspective .

One thing i believe why Meera and Desai relationship does not feel ideal or natural or not gonna last long because because Desai is not Ideal match for Meera , Its all the lust and eroticism between her and him makes us believe that Desai is better for her than Krish .

Why its not seem working because its DESAI , and what have been written for Desai .

But what if , In place of Desai there was someone else with clean past or Younger , charming guy , will most of us still object that Meera should not end up with that guy or not .

In last update , There was a Name which gave this Idea , ASHISH .

Ashish , what if in place of Desai it was Ashish , that meera fall in love with him , and That is why Krish leaving her . I dont think i would deny that possibility, though i feel sad for Krish but It would be still satisfying ending for Meera .

This thing always puzzled me , Why did Meera end up having sex with Ashish ? Krish never suggested him , Never imagine him or wank off .

I think the basis of conception of Ashish character was to make him as potential lover of Meera .

Because Ashish was only one of two ( if my memory served me right , please ignore if i am wrong) Men with Meera had sex because she wanted to not because Krish wanted her to , One of them was goa guy and other is Ashish .

If we read previous chapter , Meera always mention Ashish or talk about him . I think Meera was naturally attracted towards Ashish and always look for his appreciation , attention and his validation . That is why when Ashish was vulnerable Meera jumped on him and had sex with him and then again to boost his confidence she had sex with him again . But as story progressed his place was taken by Desai , But what if Ashish had stayed ?

I think Meera and Ashish would have end up in the same place as Desai and Meera .
I think Ashish was supposed to be blend of Both Krish and Desai .
Charming , loving , handsome personality like Krish and Sexual Dominating Personality like Desai .

Why Ashish ?

And also Ashish character would have been perfect counter for Desai , Because Desai admitted in story that HE FEELS INSECURE because of Ashish and Also told Meera to stay away from him ( again if my memory served me right) . I think Ashish would have made Desai feels what other husband's were feeling when they see their love ones falling for other Men, The feeling of helplessness and defeat when Desai see Meera actually falling for Ashish and He has no control or power or he dont even matter to Meera anymore would have been Perfect Lesson for Desai .
( I know Ashish was married and struggling in his own marriage etc etc ,but again that would be perfect set up for him )

That is why Ashish would have been ideal Match for Meera or What Meera expecting from Krish or What we want Krish to be in order to save his relationship or even himself .

But then again I am glad its not Ashish or some other guy but Desai , Because of Desai there is still hope for Krish , Krish is better than Desai that we can agree on that without even thinking , thats why many of us against this , But if it was some other then it would be difficult to not agree with Meera ending with some one else other than Krish .

I wish if the story has few more chapters , I do believe at this point the story has more potential and can extent upto three or more chapters . At this point where the real drama, tussle , fight , and Heartbreak starts , I dont think A single Chapter can sum up the story or to give satisfying ending . But then again its The KRISH writer . Anything can happen .

But one thing I am sure Desai will walk away without any lesson with or without Meera , He will enjoy and live his life and keep doing what he does .

Because Ashish was a tragic character. If my memory serves correct Ashish was very hostile towards Meera in the beginning and they often had their arguments based on work. It was later we learn that Ashish had his heart broken in the past which is why he had a tough time with women. But Meera liked this vulnerability with Ashish and Ashish didn't have that "Bull" mindset , he genuinely respected Krish and even came clean to him regarding the night with Meera. 

As for Meera and Ashish going further in that , I can give you a simple answer. If they did hook up, it will be because of love and not sexual attraction. Because Ashish was a sane person  , he wasn't a bull like Desai  , neither was he egoistic or close minded like Das and he wasn't old like Sekhar. Ashish doesn't have that dominant male mindset , does he pack more meat than Krish? Maybe possibly , there has to be a reason Meera chose to sleep with him that night. And I believe the best reason is probably that Ashish by heart and behavior was a good guy.

When he did the deed , he felt regret and he apologized to Krish for doing it because he genuinly felt he betrayed Krish.

Plus I believe Meera was attracted to Ashish because he had some similar qualities of Krish. Ashish was willing to be vulnerable which Krish often does with Meera. Ashish gave her respect which might also make her feel attracted. Above all , Ashish is a good guy and not much into kinks or any other BS like that. In short , he was a normal man , which Meera might've felt like a boon considering she was stuck between a beta cuckold Krish and an alpha bull Desai. In many ways , if Meera had feelings , Ashish was hands down the best option to ditch both of these men.


Very few characters in this story has shown some level of sanity or normal mindset here and one of that character is Ashish. Which is why I believe if Meera went with Ashish , the story would've ended way sooner and we wouldn't be getting any cuckold storyline in this setting whatsoever because Ashish and Meera would've left Krish long ago.
