Kumar stood there staring at the door with the same smile.

Ravi walked in and seeing Kumar on his feet asked, "What happened?"

"no.no.nothing. Why do you ask?" Kumar said.

"Just making sure. Did she come out?" Ravi asked.

"Not yet." Kumar lied.

Ruby was listening to all this.

"One down..one to go." She thought.

They both were talking about mundane things and no one left the room.

Ruby thought, "I need to separate these two somehow."

She held the phone to her ear and walked into the other room and made a gesture that she needs something to write on to Ravi.

Kumar was just staring at her.
Ravi walked up to the bar and started to look around for a pen and a piece of paper to write.
Ruby kept the phone to her chest as if she is making sure the person on the other side cannot hear her talk to the duo.

"Ravi can you please come to the other room?" She gave Kumar a stare and pointed at Ravi while Ravi was facing the other side and made a gesture to Kumar to get rid of him.

Ravi followed her into the other room.

She shut the door and put the phone away turning away from Ravi.
