(Yesterday, 05:10 AM)RCF Wrote: Update is quite an emotional one for the characters as expected and one of the best again in this series.
As I have mentioned long time back, 3 outcomes
1. Meera will go with Desai
2. Meera will walk away from both
3. Meera will make Krish accept her again.
For 1, path is simple, Meera needs to accept her behavior with Desai and see if the points Krish is making are valid and if she has really changed or not. If truly she feels she changed and she will be happy with Desai, then she will take this path.
Alternatively, she will take this path also if she feels her and Krish’s life will change for better if she stays with Desai, she will do the same sacrifice for Krish as he did for her…whether she will be happy or not she will remain with Desai if Krish will change and find better partner.
For 2, it’s simple she can still walk away from of all of this, but she can tell Krish, if he chooses to let her go then she can choose to live her life however she wants and there won’t be Desai in it. We don’t have much to discuss here. She is leaving Desai because she doesn’t love him, and she has no choice but to leave Krish because he won’t accept her.
For 3 to happen, it’s a complicated path for author to accomplish this one and not an easy one, need a best of the best chapter to finish it. As there are several points to explore and explain from different characters.
Krish:
He is as expected everything a man can be when he chooses his love for her woman more than anything in the world even over his own happiness. Yet there are questions about his feelings that do not really explain his stance here…
“And honestly, I can’t stop my own messed-up fantasies either. If we want peace, a real chance at happiness, we must let this go.”
"But staying together…" I trailed off, my words heavy with the weight of everything unsaid. "It means the problems will never end. Not for us. If not Desai, then someone else. It’ll happen again.”
Why is still Krish thinking he is not changed? Why does he still believe that his fantasies are not dead? Is he convincing Meera to make her believe he did not change or is it truly his feeling that he did not change? If he believes that he did not change, then what was his below revelation that he can control his impulses?
“And yet, there was a strange sense of clarity now, one I hadn’t felt before. Nidhi had given me a chance to vent my frustrations, to unload the chaos that had been building inside me. And the way I managed to stop it midway, to assert some control over my impulses, was a revelation. It gave me a glimmer of hope, a sense that perhaps I could navigate these murky waters, these conflicting desires, with a little more self-awareness.
“
Here, by stopping impulses midway, Krish experienced a newfound sense of control and self-awareness. This realization is already giving him hope that he can better manage his fantasies and navigate difficult situations with greater understanding and insight in future.
My understanding is, he still is not using this realization to make his future better because he thought from Meera’s side, he lost her. He thinks she has fallen for Desai looking at the bond he saw last few times when she was with Desai.
His biggest defeat in his mind is Meera’s bond with Desai...author has portrayed that so well that it’s etched in Krish and readers minds...His descriptions of how Meera felt when she is with Desai has created a rift in every one’s minds so deep that it’s hard to believe for many that she has not fallen for Desai and that includes Krish.
Krish’s thoughts again and again prove it.
“But then the image of Meera with Desai flooded my mind – the way she had looked at him, how she had responded to him, her body drawn to his in a way she had never been with me. That memory erased all my doubts instantly.”
“But this time it’s different. Your heart belongs to someone else. It doesn’t belong to me anymore.”
“You and Desai... you bring out something in each other that I never could. “
“You crave him, Meera. Your body, your mind – they crave him. Don't deny it."
“And you can’t deny that part of you feels more alive with him. I’ve seen it. I’ve heard it in your voice when you talk to him.””
So, if outcome 3 needs to happen, For Krish character (readers too) need to believe again that Meera’s feelings for Desai are not love, not her happiness. Her true happiness is with Krish and not with Desai. Can the author accomplish this one through Meera? Not an easy task. But I trust Krish_999 will be able to convince If he chooses this outcome.
Desai:
What can I say, Desai’s character after cleaning, blended well with newfound love for Meera, He is a changed man, though author didn’t convince people like me, but many think he is the macho man who deserves Meera. Some think people will change so what’s wrong in him getting Meera. Well, he showed his true colors in this chapter.
"Susheel, I don't want to see what we have between us become a punishment for you. No matter what feelings I develop for you, we will not be a couple."
"No, no... Meera. I am not looking forward to seeing us as a couple. I have no plans to ruin your life with Krish."
"That's my greatest courage. I trust you, Susheel."
"You can trust me. I told you I'll be faithful to you. Forever."
So, Desai always maintained that without Meera choosing him herself, he would never choose her there by ruining their marriage. He has promised Meera that his intentions are not to destroy their marriage, or his intention is not to seek her for himself, but now he is selfish to agree to Krish as soon as he came to him saying their marriage is falling apart. He didn’t even try once to change Krish’s mind and give him assurance that he will go away forever from their life if it makes their marriage work. He is not that self-less person like Krish. His world revolves around his own happiness. He wants Meera and he will not go until he gets it. Meera should be shocked that Desai has become this selfish and has chosen for his own happiness over their marriage. He has confidence that once he meets Meera, he can change her mind to let Krish go and be with him and that would be his biggest mistake.
You can draw parallels here between Krish and Desai.
Krish chose Meera’s happiness over his own happiness, love and marriage. He is prepared to sacrifice everything for her happiness. While Desai chose his own happiness over Meera’s happiness. He knows Meera doesn’t love him and he knows Krish is her world, yet he came prepared to take her away from her love.
For outcome 3, Desai needs to realize or Meera/Krish needs to show him his selfishness.
Meera:
Meera’s character I kept at last as its deciding factor and it has been all this part. Its complicated and with out knowing her POV, many tend to misjudge her but still as author showed her behavior with Desai and gave detailed dialogues and insight into their bond, like I said in many of my comments, her obsession was dragged over and over to a point where her cheating is etched into the minds of readers so hard that her feelings towards Krish has become a joke for many readers but not for me.
Meera never in the last 2 parts played with her marriage, she knows when she takes risk Krish will come back to her and forgives her. She did not expect that her bond with Desai would break her marriage. Even after her confession with Krish on her cheating she has stood on one thing as firm as possible and that she is in love with only Krish and not Desai. That is the true essence for me for her retribution.
She has fought for 2 weeks with Krish to make him believe that she is not in love with Desai, and she will not be happy with him, but Krish refuses to believe it.
“You’re fucking wrong,” she cried, her voice cracking. “You’re so, so wrong. There’s no one else for me, Krish. I don’t want a life with Desai. I want a life with you.”
In her mind she would not be happy with Desai, without Krish. She tried to explain how her bond with Desai would work...
"No, Krish. You're wrong. You're so, so wrong. He's just... different. Exciting. But it’s not love. It’s not the way I feel about you. You know, whatever I have in me, this feeling you're talking about, I can let go of that, if you can let go of him. That’s what drew me forward. If I was with him, it would have been because of you, Krish. Try to understand that. I don’t have these fantasies if I don’t have you."
She even offered to move forward and block Desai and start family
"In those moments, I remembered what you said the other day about having kids… and I was like, 'Oh Krish, I’m ready. I want to do it. I want a baby.' That moment... it was like a revelation. I felt something shift inside me. Like I understood what it could mean to create life, to have a child with you."
“"I’m sorry," she cried, her voice shaking. "I’m sorry for everything. For being distant, for questioning your proposal about having children... I was wrong, Krish. So wrong... I... Krish, I want to be the mother of your child," she said through her tears, her voice full of desperation. "I want us to have a child, Krish. I want us to move forward, to leave everything behind... just be us."
“
Yet Krish refused to give in as he firmly believes that her happiness lies only with Desai and not him, He thinks Desai deserves her more than him, but that decision is not his to make, A woman need to decide who deserves her not the man.
So, if she loves Krish and not Desai then why did she agree to Krish’s proposal to go with Desai? Did she agree because she wants to understand her own feelings for Desai? Did she agree because she wants to prove to Krish that he is wrong in his intentions that she will be happy with Desai? Or did she agree because she also started to believe that Krish will only change if she leaves him and he would move on and find a better partner, for that to happen she is willing to sacrifice her happiness and stay with Desai and make Krish believe that she is happy with Desai?
Can a woman get a better man than the person who sacrifices everything for her happiness? Who in their right mind would choose another over the person who selflessly throws everything for her. Ultimate sacrifice always pays off at the end, that’s the truth of nature.
She has lot of heavy burden now to prove three things to herself, Krish, readers and hopefully author has banger of a last part to be able to accomplish outcome 3.
1. She needs to prove to Krish that she doesn’t love Desai and has no feelings for him, she needs to also show him that the bond that he has seen is not real or at least is not permanent. She has tried in the past 2 weeks many times to change Krish’s mind in various ways, but she failed to convince him that she doesn’t love Desai.
2. She must prove to herself too and understand herself why she is craving Desai, if she still craves Desai then what is the use of her going back to Krish, so her feelings to need to be erased completely. There needs to be revelation to her in terms of her own reactions to Desai.
3. This is the most important one if she must go back to Krish, she needs to make Krish believe that he has changed forever, he does not seek fantasies anymore. Also, now she needs to assure him that for him to change she will put in efforts which she did not do ever in her life. Krish needs to understand that if he can sacrifice everything for Meera’s happiness, why can’t he sacrifice his fantasies for their happiness? If he can believe that if his fantasy survives then his love won’t survive, he will throw his fantasies away in a heartbeat, but for him to accept that he needs to first see that Meera has not fallen for Desai.
"Try to understand that. I don’t have these fantasies if I don’t have you."
My guess would be if there is a sex scene in last part between Meera and Desai and there should be, then it would prove many things to Meera, Desai and Krish. Desai goes a full circle back and even with all his might will not be able to bring her to orgasm again. He once failed at this step and vowed to make her his, and now he must end up at the same fate that proves without Krish, Meera has no soul left to enjoy him and his pleasures.
Also, there should be a sex between Meera and Krish to close the outcome 3 to prove that when their minds are cleared, they truly belong with each other not only emotionally but physically as well.
Here’s to the wonderful story and its run that is EPIC in this forum for ever. Kudos to my fav author!
