I would have agreed that the nature of having forbidden fruit would have been the recipe for cheating for many stories but not for this story.

In this story..its not the sweet being forbidden that draw Meera towards it..It was everything that she ever wished Krish to be in her marriage..Instead of finding it in Krish, she found it in Desai but she doesn't love Desai, now temptation is there but other side her marriage and her Krish are also there..She picked her temptation for short time..and put her marriage at risk. She took this step because she has always wondered how would it be if her Krish was like this..now she found it in Desai she doesn't want to leave that experience..because in her mind Krish also at some point likes it. Remember she saw Krish masturbated when she returned from Desai's room...If Krish leaves her now explaining that he hates being cuckold again in his life...Meera would be shocked and she would seriously try not to care about this forbidden sweet in my opinion but you never know, my whole theory could be wrong.
