Adultery Knowing My Wife, Knowing Me As Well - part III
Krish becomes the laughing stock of many (Desai, Meera, Nidhi, Malthrei, Piyush etc) and the whipping boy in the last few chapters.
The introduction talks about how every character has evolved (and that is the case throughout the story).
But not Krish.
‘If it had not all been an illusion in the beginning’, no man would have evolved from a confident individual to an absolute jerk and failure over the course of the story.
It is not a man, but a stupid, naive, male-child that we experience and observe here.
Because a man (Krish) fights for himself and for his wife (the marriage).
He does not lie down like a dog and watch, even if it's his last breath...

Krish would have - and has - every reason and opportunity in the world to kick Desai's arse and show him his boundaries, but no, he has held back and ducked every time.

Now he's to the point where Desai has no respect or fear of him.
(Desai should not forget the slap in the face and the punch in the gut from the past though!)

The question of whether Krish and Meera find each other completely as a loving and appreciative couple and stay together or not is not important at this point.
Rather, it is about whether and how Krish
(the main protagonist who is at the centre of this story, because everything revolves around him, everyone else, including Meera, revolves around him like satellites. Everything that happens is on his initiative and takes place within the framework he provides).
stands up and becomes the person he was at the beginning of the story.
Everything in this story falls and stands with his decision ...

The impression that Desai is pulling all the strings and everyone else (including Krish) is dancing to his tune is a deception and a snapshot.
Because both Desai and everyone else - including Meera - only move and develop within the field and framework that Krish provides for and allows them.
He can put an end to all this at any time and stop it.
... And I think that's what will happen in the end, because that's the philosophy of this story and that's its point.

Krish says to all:
"Knowing MY wife (not Desai's!), knowing me as well"

In this sense
All the best
