Chapter 13 : The convincing ..
Life didn’t stop throwing surprises at me and it continued to get wilder and weirder. Surekha called Suritee in the night to “our” bedroom . Suritee came upstairs hesitantly as she never stepped inside the bedroom after the humiliation of rejection she faced about a month back . As she opened the door me and Surekha were sitting on the edge of bed . Surekha asked her to sit down on the bed next to her . I stood up and leaned against the wall that Surekha used to cover herself unsuccessfully during her wedding night . Surekha was in the night gown so as Suritee but Suritee’s night gown was showing about 3/4th of her thighs . Surekha said “ I know what you must be going to through and it breaks my heart to see you this way every day . But I didn’t initiate or sign up for this nor did Aadesh . I really want to see you happy and not alone like this “ Suritee replied “ Ma I have nothing against you but it’s too much for me to handle. I feel unwanted and unattended . I am trying to keep myself together by running and working out but it’s not helping me 100% . We are in this crazy situation because of some nasty horoscope problem that you and Suresh believes in . So when I asked him to get you out of this situation which he got us in he said yes . Unfortunately we cannot now undo the relationship between me and Aadesh and you know that . Until me and his father are alive we need to maintain this twisted relationship afterwards you can be with Aadesh “ I didn’t know what to say in this matter so I kept mum. Surekha continued “ Now you think of it even Aadhesh’s father is lonely so it makes perfect sense for you two take care of each other please Suritee don’t make it harder than what already it is “ Suritee was speechless and couldn’t argue “ Did he actually say yes ? I would like to talk to him “ Surekha said “ although he said yes he said he needs to let this digest until then he requested not to talk him about this topic . So let us honor his request . Is that ok ?” Suritee had face of a person with no choice and said “ I guess so . I will not talk to him about this until day after tomorrow .” Surekha breathed the sign of relief and said “ good ! Does it mean you too are ready for the marriage ? “ Suritee took a deep breath and said while looking at her feet “ yes , I guess so “ Surekha seemed pleased “ so today is Wednesday, how does coming Friday evening sound for eve marriage “ Suritee and I both got surprised . Suritee said “ why so hurry ? I need some to digest this as well . “ Surekha said “ More time means more confusion . Please dear I am doing this only out of your best interest. I got ready for marriage with Aadesh on your insistence, please I beg you to do this for me . Can you ?” Surekha concerned Suritee really well who said with slight nod “ Yes , I guess so.” Suritee stood up and left room . So my 28 year old ex wife agreed on marry my 65 year old father . Surekha looked pleased . I said “ you have awesome convincing tactics. You didn’t talk to to Suresh about this did you ? And I guess you are going to be even more persuasive talking to Suresh . Come here Bebe “ this was the first time I called Surekha Bebe as she blushed . I couldn’t wait to get inside of my woman who cleverly convinced her 28 year daughter to marry my 65 year old father.I took her in my arms , locked my lips with hers and pulled the straps of her nightgown . “
