But Krish needs to get rid of Desai from his head. 

I have a feeling Meera likes the alpha energy Desai brings which is what attracts her to him. But she is more of a fan of the beta Krish and she likes control which Krish willingly gives unlike Desai who manages to dominate. Which is what brings the confusion , she likes the alpha Desai that dominates her but she is not willing to let go the beta Krish that she can dominate.

Some how Desai must die. How people find erotism with the old man I do not understand.
