No the blame is definitely on Krish. He could've easily stopped Meera's descent to cravings of Desai by stopping her during the music festival but he didn't and hid in the closet and watched them having sex fueling his cuckolding. Krish could've easily made up excuses when Meera went to Desai's room to talk and intervened when they were starting to have sex but he didn't , he sat in his bed jerking listening to them having sex. Even in this six months , Krish had convinced himself with the idea that Desai is the only one that can fully satisfy Meera and dreamed of them reuniting one day just to fuel his kinks.

The prisoner in this marriage is Meera because she loves Krish and she is now falling victim to his cuckolding. She wants to stay with Krish but his constant push for his kinks is making Meera feel like Desai will be her inevitable future. Yes Desai loves her and it seems his feelings are genuine, but that also means parting with Krish which had always been Meera's support beam. Leaving Krish for Desai will not only undo Meera as a person , she will also change and transform into an opportunist.

The apt solution is a temporary separation but this time, this separation will trigger Krish to mend ways become a better person, and overcome his cuckolding. That is the only way Meera will return to him, Meera will continue to love him if he gets to overcome his one flaw which is his kink and that will make them a team and the couple they are meant to be.

As I have told you before Krish cannot keep Meera prisoner, Meera had sex with Desai with no pushing from Krish, it was because of her own free will. It was not his duty to stop them from making love, the decision should have been Meera's to not have sex with Desai, and Krish cannot stop them from having an affair if they want to( he cannot be a watchdog for Meera ) . Meera lacks the willpower or maybe is already in love with Desai, we don't know yet. 
 Meera and Krish both enjoy the cuckold lifestyle and having sex with other people. Krish was planning to have a child with Meera, that was his way of ending their cuckold lifestyle, but again Meera rebuffed the idea. There have been instances like with Armaan and Ashish where Meera had sex with them without Krish's consent and the same with Krish she had sex with Mathrei and is yet to disclose this to Meera, both of them are flawed characters and do not disclose everything with each other. Meera never disclosed what she talked with Desai to Krish during their sessions.

The idea that they are soul mates and the epitome of true love is false, they both have their weaknesses. For this reason alone I want the author to explore the idea of writing a love affair between Desai and Meera.
