A tingling eroticism with a high entertainment value, excellently written and staged within reach...
Even though I realise that this is not a fantasy story, but rather a mixture of autobiography and reports of
experiences embellished with a little fantasy ... I was very surprised by Nadir's plot.
I would have been more understanding (and in my opinion it would have been the right way to go) if Nadir
- after bringing Jalal into the house, informing Meena and announcing Jalal's visit - had said goodbye to
him on the grounds that he still had something to do at the hospital... just as he had intended to do when
he went to the car.
Now he has to live with the negative label of ‘cuckold’ and sexual failure - if Jalal takes this to the extreme
and keeps telling Nadir this in the future -.
If he had left, the impression would have been created that Jalal's sexual intercourse with Meena in their
marriage bed took place without his knowledge or involvement.
He would be in a better position without having diminished or even lost the reputation and respect that
Jalal had shown him up to that point.
But only Nadir himself knows why he acted the way he did ...
In this sense
All the best
