Adultery Knowing My Wife, Knowing Me As Well - part III

I really appreciate the detailed feedback on my reviews, both current and past. Sorry for my late response; I was just trying to process my thoughts. You’ve made some valid points about the characters, but I have my own take on things. We can agree that the characters act according to the author’s portrayal—some evolve, some introduce new aspects, while others just seem to act strangely. For instance, I find Krish's behavior quite odd. He’s a cuckold in a sense, but he’s not completely at ease with that role. He might think he is, but he's clearly uncomfortable with Meera’s relationships; he should feel more at peace if he truly accepted being a cuckold.

Reflecting back on the first part, he seems really insecure—stuck in a dead-end job with financial woes—while the one bright spot is his attractive wife. When he realizes that other men are after her, he goes to extremes to keep her, even claiming he's a cuckold. Sure, he attempts to enjoy the situation with outsiders, but deep down, he’s terrified that Meera will leave him for someone better.

On the flip side, Meera was initially possessive of Krish, unwilling to let him see other women, but when he did sleep with other woman, she walked away without tying to understand him or his situation. Her moral compass worked only that far. However, she had no qualms about sleeping with other guys in his presence, fully aware of how troubled Krish was. By letting herself explore, Krish thought he was keeping her happy, but he only sank deeper into despair. When she misrepresented her experience with Desai after their initial meeting, it gave Krish a false sense of bravado & hope, which ultimately led to this situation. I’ve always felt there’s a lack of honest communication between Krish and Meera, and now I think she’s crossed a major boundary. They might need to go their separate ways, despite my wish for them to stay together.

Desai seems to be on a winning streak at the moment, but honestly, is that what we really want? Absolutely not! I’m not buying into his dramatic antics and romantic gestures. I also find it hard to believe that he just happened to show up at that concert by chance. To me, it looks like he and Meera were in contact, or maybe he was even stalking her. There’s also a chance he’s in cahoots with Maithrei.

Krish is comfortable with Meera's relationships as long as they don't threaten his existence in her life and there is no romantic angle from Meera. Take instances of Shekar or Das, he was never uncomfortable. He in fact was right outside the door and jerked himself in those situations. He starts as if he is enjoying but then again thoughts of losing his wife to alphas come to his mind and he reprimands himself in his mind for being in those situations and I think that syncs with cuckold behavior at least the one's who are new to it. If there was no love angle from Desai in pursuing Meera he would have been super happy how things turned out. Just because he knows Desai loves his wife, he is feeling uncomfortable in this scenario yet his cuckold nature won over such feelings and he ended up crossing the line and now he allowed it to go so far that Meera got to spend so much time with Desai and developed feelings for Desai. So in a way by not curbing their relationship early in the stage when he knew Desai loves Meera is purely on Krish and no one else.

"she walked away without tying to understand him or his situation."

She did not blame him, she waled away because he put her in a situation where she felt she doesn't even has right to blame him and him cheating on her made her realize that and she hated to be in that situation and hence she left him.

"she had no qualms about sleeping with other guys in his presence, fully aware of how troubled Krish was"

False, read all parts, krish never opens up on his Insecurities. Never! If only she knew how much Krish worries about losing her, she would never enjoy this cuckoldry adventures.

"When she misrepresented her experience with Desai after their initial meeting, it gave Krish a false sense of bravado & hope, which ultimately led to this situation."

She did not misrepresent, In fact by allowing them to kiss for the first time in his own house, Krish gave his go ahead from outside despite a whirlwind of emotions he was going through inside. Which ultimately led Meera and Desai to commit on wedding anniversary, She thought he was giving Desai as gift and the kiss earlier was Krish's hint to pursue it.

"I’ve always felt there’s a lack of honest communication between Krish and Meera"

This! It's the cause for everything that happened so far.

"They might need to go their separate ways, despite my wish for them to stay together."

We can agree to disagree but If Desai gets Meera then its wrong thing happening for wrong reasons. There is not a single episode in this whole story where it was established that Meera loves Desai more than Krish(She has feelings for sure but more than Krish?I don't know). When that is true then Meera ending with Desai is bad.

"To me, it looks like he and Meera were in contact"

From their conversation, its not true.

There’s also a chance he’s in cahoots with Maithrei."

There is a very good chance , Desai has a accomplice in his plan to meet Meera. It could be Maithrei or Piyush.
