Adultery Knowing My Wife, Knowing Me As Well - part III

Yes persistence will give you temporary win but with out true love it won't survive. Desai's love when compared to Krish is meek. Its proven in case of Nidhi when he lost a step where as despite many opportunities with Parvathi and Maithrei Krish did not take it. Desai manipulated Meera with his reasons but truth is he cheated on Meera. so how can he get Meera at the end. That's not a true ending.

All the points you mentioned belong to a person who is manipulative and shows he goes to any extent to achieve once he sets his mind but with out moral reasons behind it giving him win at the end will be lame.

Hey RCF,

I really appreciate the detailed feedback on my reviews, both current and past. Sorry for my late response; I was just trying to process my thoughts. You’ve made some valid points about the characters, but I have my own take on things. We can agree that the characters act according to the author’s portrayal—some evolve, some introduce new aspects, while others just seem to act strangely. For instance, I find Krish's behavior quite odd. He’s a cuckold in a sense, but he’s not completely at ease with that role. He might think he is, but he's clearly uncomfortable with Meera’s relationships; he should feel more at peace if he truly accepted being a cuckold.

Reflecting back on the first part, he seems really insecure—stuck in a dead-end job with financial woes—while the one bright spot is his attractive wife. When he realizes that other men are after her, he goes to extremes to keep her, even claiming he's a cuckold. Sure, he attempts to enjoy the situation with outsiders, but deep down, he’s terrified that Meera will leave him for someone better.

On the flip side, Meera was initially possessive of Krish, unwilling to let him see other women, but when he did sleep with other woman, she walked away without tying to understand him or his situation. Her moral compass worked only that far. However, she had no qualms about sleeping with other guys in his presence, fully aware of how troubled Krish was. By letting herself explore, Krish thought he was keeping her happy, but he only sank deeper into despair. When she misrepresented her experience with Desai after their initial meeting, it gave Krish a false sense of bravado & hope, which ultimately led to this situation. I’ve always felt there’s a lack of honest communication between Krish and Meera, and now I think she’s crossed a major boundary. They might need to go their separate ways, despite my wish for them to stay together.

Desai seems to be on a winning streak at the moment, but honestly, is that what we really want? Absolutely not! I’m not buying into his dramatic antics and romantic gestures. I also find it hard to believe that he just happened to show up at that concert by chance. To me, it looks like he and Meera were in contact, or maybe he was even stalking her. There’s also a chance he’s in cahoots with Maithrei.
Bineesh!
