Good catch..she is least bothered about her husband being with Maithrei either she takes what Desai is saying lightly as she doesn't believe it or she is not that possessive any more. In case open relationship happens and Krish is subjected to humiliation or left alone and he leaves home and comes close to Maithrei that would be the worst plot ever. there would be no point even if Krish develops and improves with Maithrei as at that point it would be waste of time to even win Meera back.

I don't think that is a bad plot , Krish needs an outside perspective to improve his character and personality. So I believe an affair with Maithrei will bring that improvement in him. And I say this because that is Meera's perspective often , she realizes how much she loves Krish when he is not around with her. Maybe Maithrei improving Krish will make Meera feel guilty that she could've improved Krish herself but never did because she was obsessed with Desai. That would make Meera realize that Shekhar , Das and Desai they're all just part of pleasure to her body not to her feelings. No one could emotionallly and mentally connect to her like Krish. Seeing an improved Krish would make Meera feel more enamored with him and maybe even ditch Desai for good because regardless how many powerful thrusts he will give , her heart will forever beat for Krish. But for that to happens , Krish must overcome his cuckold nature and that is what the future chapters should focus on. Because the cuckold part of Krish is what brings Meera's affection to Krish down. Krish has to become a better man in life and make Meera fall in love with him all over again.
