Vikadakavi has echoed my thoughts one to one in his analysis, to which I have nothing to add.
Some readers will now make fun of Krish (main protagonist) and trample on him, in parallel
emphasising Desai to the kingdom of heaven.
As Vikadakavi describes in his detailed analysis, Krish had ONLY this one OPTION, to find out if
his (ahhh so loving and faithful!) wife is *also* mentally distancing herself from Desai, is really faithful
to him and he can trust her...
If he had stopped her from giving herself to Desai by calling, he would never have been able to
know what she had been feeling and sensing for the last six months.
He gave her the chance to stand up to Desai, to tell him clearly that she was no longer interested
in a relationship.
Instead, she delivered what Krish suspected, namely her infidelity and sexual devotion to Desai.
She also (unconsciously) made Krish realise that she does not have the same sexual devotion to him
as she reveals and shows to Desai...
This act must have consequences for both Desai and Meera.
Therefore, Krish should not indulge in word games and allow Meera to manipulate him.
A reckoning with Desai is no longer inevitable !!!
Krish is now enriched by a ‘sadder’ truth;
She is far from the love and feelings he feels for his beloved Meera: She is an unfaithful wife...
In this sense
All the best
