At this point separation is the most logical outcome. If the author tries a reconciliation, the story would become similar to an India TV series. The only way reconciliation is possible is if Meera was drugged, but that does not look like the case.

Logical next choice is separation yes but not the ending. Reconciliation is definitely on the cards..else the separation would have been in the last episode not 6-7 episodes before the ending. Also for this story any other ending without Meera and Krish together will lose the purpose and its essence.

Your question about why would Krish want to live with a known slut? 
My answer would be this...

Didn't Meera live with known cuckold all these years?
Didn't Meera live with Krish who betrayed her with Ananya?
Didn't she come back to Krish despite his betrayal with Sheetal?
Didn't Meera choose Krish earlier despite knowing Desai is good in bed and a better choice in all forms and also now its revealed she has feelings for him so doesn't it prove to us that she loves Krish more than Desai?


Like I have been saying sex is not a parameter to judge couple here, feelings though are different matter altogether which is now the real betrayal of Meera, She for the first time revealed her feelings for Desai to Krish unknowingly so its a betrayal as I have been suspecting. Now its only a matter of her figuring out with out whom she cannot live her life.

Yes reconciliation is definitely one option..so is alternative ending where both go separate ways. If taken both will seem OK and none would seem TV series in my opinion.
