Shrishti, sitting in despair, said to herself... After so many days, I got a chance, but I lost it because of my own actions. I wish I had not been in such a hurry, I wish my mother had not made so much fuss, I wish I had got an auto on time, so that I would not have to leave her after reaching the destination. O Lord, I had made a request to you, but you rejected it too. Why, why, why does this happen to me only? And she cursed herself (perhaps abusing herself in her mind)



I wish this had not happened, I wish that had not happened, Shrishti was contemplating deeply on all these things. The effect of which was clearly visible on her face. The innocent blooming face seemed to have faded. The smile that always used to float on the lips, seemed to have disappeared.



Whenever someone entered the door, Shrishti felt a jolt and her mind said, "Is this the same person in whose auto I had forgotten my certificate?" But on seeing him empty handed, she again became disappointed. Many people came and went from the front. Each time Shrishti's mind repeated the same thing, ultimately Shrishti bowed her head in disappointment. At that very moment a person came inside and reached the receptionist, seeing the person the receptionist said... Good morning sir.



"Good morning Tanvi (then giving the file she had brought with her she said) Tanvi this is the file of someone Shrishti who has come here for an interview, when she comes back return her deposit to her."



Shrishti (then pointing her finger in front Tanvi said further) Sir she is sitting in front and has been worried for a long time.

Shrishti felt bad after listening to the man's words, she felt very bad because an unknown person was accusing Shrishti of being irresponsible. Whereas that person was unaware of the truth. Shrishti could not tolerate being pointed at despite not being at fault, so Shrishti said... Sir sometimes what is visible is not the truth, but the truth is the opposite. "Okay (the man said further with a faint smile) then you tell me the truth that what must have been the reason that you had to leave your precious certificate in an auto.



Shrishti... the truth (she paused for a few moments and then said further while looking into the man's eyes) I do not think it necessary to tell the truth because it is not in my nature to get sympathy from someone by narrating what has happened.



"You have self-respect, I am very impressed by your words but I am also disappointed by the incident that happened just now, still I cannot say anything to you except to wait. So you wait, whatever is in your fate will happen."



Saying this, the man went on his way and forced Shrishti to think. "Who is this man? Is this a senior officer of this office? If it happens, he might take my words in a bad way. Shrishti kept on thinking about various things in her mind for some time, then she went and submitted the interview invitation letter and started waiting for her turn. People started leaving one by one and Shrishti kept sitting and waiting for her turn. There were still many people left when a person came and said... The interview is postponed here for today. All of you will be informed when the next date is decided. Now you all should leave for your respective homes.



The people present there started going out one by one talking about various things. But Shrishti kept sitting as she was. She could not believe that the interview has been postponed. Sooner or later she had to believe and that is what happened, as soon as she believed, the pain of another failure flowed out of her eyes in the form of tears, wiping which, Shrishti slowly walked out with her steps.



Shrishti was passing in front of the receptionist, at that very moment the phone at the reception rang, she looked back and sat down. Shrishti was just about to step out of the gate. At that very moment the receptionist called out to Shrishti. Perhaps Shrishti could not hear and hence did not react. So the receptionist quickly reached the door, by that time Shrishti had reached the lift. So that Shrishti does not board the lift, the receptionist called out loudly and said... Shrishti ma'am wait.



Shrishti stopped due to the loud voice and turned around to look in the direction from where the voice had come. The receptionist waved her hand and called Shrishti to her and Shrishti went to her unwillingly. As soon as Shrishti reached, the receptionist said... ma'am you are being called for an interview.



Shrishti was happy to hear that only Shrishti was called for the interview but the question mark which gets aroused a lot on such occasions and especially in a woman and that too when she feels lonely. The same question started troubling Shrishti's inner mind and Shrishti asked... The interview was postponed then why am I being called for the interview? Am I a person? Or does your sir know me?



Tanvi... why? I don't know but I will say that you are very lucky that even after the interview was postponed, the CEO Mr. Raghav sir himself is calling you for the interview.



Shrishti was happy on hearing Tanvi's words and was also surprised. But before leaving, she got a chance once again so without wasting much time. She reached the reception with Tanvi and then started walking in the direction indicated by Tanvi. And I thought that whatever happens will be seen, after all this is an office, many people are working here.



Change in scene



Raghav was sitting in his office room and scolding Sakshi. The reason was the same for which Raghav used to scold her almost every day. Raghav said while scolding...



Sakshi, why do I have to tell you the same thing again and again? Why don't you listen to it once? I am not like others who consider girls as objects of display but you are the one who does not stop displaying. Today I am giving you one last warning. Next time if I see your shirt button open then that day will be your last day in this office. Now you go and do your work.
