Awesome theme, build-up and narration. I'm happy over the top because the writer is posting updates on a daily basis.
Instead of restricting it to a novella, there is ample scope to take it forward. A few suggestions from my side. 
With Rahul away for 6 month's, Kavya and Danish should have a secret relationship in public but free of all inhibitions in their flat. 
Kavya must start treating Danish as her husband eg. sharing Rahuls bed, role playing (eg. Suhagraat or keeping karwa chaut for Danish) , having unprotected sex followed by emergency contraceptives. 
In some dates, Kavya may introduce Danish as her husband. How about some long trips wearing burkha and risque sex in secluded public places. 
Kavya can get so addicted to Danish that she's eager to sacrifice her marriage to Rahul and ready to convert if required. 
Looking forward to the story.
