Misc. Erotica HAVELI (PAST AND PRESENT)
#2
Kanika, still unsettled from the strange dream and the events of the previous day, felt an overwhelming urge to find answers. She moved quietly through the silent corridors of the haveli, her steps echoing off the cold stone floors. The air felt heavier now, as if the haveli itself was aware of her presence, watching her every move.

She returned to the room where Rudra had fallen unconscious, the atmosphere thick with mystery. The dim light barely illuminated the walls, which seemed to close in around her. She cautiously stepped inside, her eyes scanning the room for anything that could explain what had happened.

The room was unnervingly still, but something felt off. She could sense it, a presence or an energy that lingered in the air. Her gaze fell on the corner where Rudra had collapsed, and she moved closer, searching for anything—marks on the floor, clues, or symbols like the ones she had seen before.

But the room remained quiet, offering no immediate answers. Determined, Kanika knelt, running her fingers over the cold stone floor, hoping to feel something. The scent of the perfume still clung to her skin, reminding her of the dream, the mysterious man, and the connection she couldn’t explain.

There had to be something here. Something hidden. Something that tied her dream, Rudra's fall, and the treasure map together.

As Kanika continued her investigation, the air in the room grew colder, and a strange sense of unease crept over her. She felt like something was watching her from the shadows, lurking just beyond her sight. A chill ran down her spine as she caught movement from the corner of her eye. Whatever it was, it seemed to be moving toward her.

Her heart raced, and instinctively, she backed away, ready to flee. In her panic, her foot caught on the edge of a rug, and she stumbled, falling to the floor. Her scream pierced the silence as the dark figure loomed closer, but just as quickly, she heard a familiar voice.

"Kanika, it's me," Rudra's voice broke through the tension.

Kanika exhaled, her fear easing as she realized it was Rudra standing in front of her, not some unknown threat. She quickly gathered herself, her face flushed with a mixture of embarrassment and relief.

As Kanika caught her breath, relief washed over her upon realizing it was Rudra. But as she stood up, she suddenly became aware that in her fall, her pallu had slipped leaving her half exposed boobs for view, and her saree had loosened slightly, leaving her feeling exposed. Flustered, she quickly adjusted her saree, pulling the pallu back into place with a nervous glance at Rudra.

Rudra's eyes flickered momentarily, but he quickly looked away, sensing her discomfort. His expression shifted back to seriousness, a.

"Rudra!" she said, catching her breath, "What are you doing here? You should be resting."

Rudra, his gaze lingering on her for a brief moment, responded with a faint smile. "I couldn’t sleep. I came looking for answers… just like you."

As the air between them cooled and the tension subsided, Kanika turned her attention back to the room. "We’re not going to find answers standing here," she muttered, more to herself than to Rudra.

Rudra nodded, and together they continued their search. As Kanika scanned the walls, she noticed a faint outline of something hidden behind an old tapestry. She approached it and, with Rudra's help, pulled it back to reveal a door—small, worn, and almost invisible, blending into the stone wall.

"How did we miss this before?" Kanika whispered, heart racing again, but this time from the thrill of discovery. Rudra stepped closer, examining the door.

"Looks like it’s been sealed for years," he said, running his fingers along the edges. "This could be what we've been looking for."

With a determined look, Kanika tried the key she had found earlier. The old lock clicked, and the door creaked open slowly, revealing a narrow staircase descending into darkness.

Without hesitation, they exchanged a glance and stepped forward, unaware of what awaited them below.

Rudra pov: few moments ago

Rudra woke up feeling rejuvenated, as if a new surge of energy was coursing through him. He couldn't recall the specifics of what happened in the room before he lost consciousness, and his curiosity drove him to investigate further.

When he entered the room again, he found Kanika there. She looked visibly unsettled, her fear palpable. However, what captured Rudra's attention was her appearance—her deep cleavage was prominently visible, with no pallu covering it. The sight was striking and left an impression on him, though it was only for a brief moment.

As he tried to shake off the lingering image, both Rudra and Kanika focused on finding the script they needed.

Now:

As Rudra and Kanika examined the old scriptures on the wall, they both noticed that the script was unlike anything they had seen before. Intricate carvings and symbols intertwined, depicting scenes from what appeared to be an ancient story. The deeper they looked, the more it became apparent that these were not ordinary stories.

Kanika’s hand brushed across a section of the wall, revealing more of the faded carvings. “Look here,” she whispered, pointing to a sequence of images that appeared to tell a tale from the past. The figures were artistically carved, showing men and women in close, intimate settings, their bodies intertwined in what seemed to be passionate embraces. It was a reflection of ancient rituals, relationships, and connections—more sensual than anything Kanika had ever seen in historical texts.

“These... these are stories from centuries ago,” Rudra said, his voice low, almost as if he didn’t want to disturb the energy in the room. “It’s like they’re telling us about the lives of the people who once lived here.”

The carvings illustrated not just physical intimacy, but a deeper connection between lovers, seemingly tied to the haveli’s rich history. The lovers were shown in moments of union, perhaps part of ancient rituals meant to bring prosperity or even unlock secrets—maybe the very secrets of the haveli they were now standing in.

Kanika’s breath caught as she traced the details of one such scene, feeling a strange sense of familiarity. “Do you think this is tied to the treasure? Or something more?” she asked, glancing at Rudra.

Rudra was silent for a moment, studying the carvings. “It’s possible these stories hold the key to understanding the haveli’s past. Perhaps these intimate tales are more than just stories—maybe they are a clue, or a warning.”

The air in the room grew heavier, as if the ancient energies were waking up with their discoveries. The past seemed to blend with the present, and as they stood there, th
e symbols on the wall seemed to pulse with a life of their own.

The morning sun filtered through the old, cracked windows of the haveli, casting soft golden light on the ancient walls. Abhishek sat at the breakfast table, looking out at the sprawling courtyard.

Kanika, seated beside him, looked deep in thought as she sipped her tea, her eyes occasionally glancing toward the south wing where they had made their discoveries. Rudra, who had joined them late after a restless night, appeared unusually quiet.

Breaking the silence, Abhishek cleared his throat. "I think we should take all go the the near by village " he suggested, his voice cutting through the morning calm. "There are some errands we need to take care of in the nearby town. It’ll be good to step out and know the area. What do you both think?"

Kanika hesitated for a moment but eventually agreed. "Alright. It might be good to clear our heads. I could use a break from all the dust and mystery for a while." She smiled faintly at Abhishek, though her mind was clearly still focused on the haveli.

"Great," Abhishek said, relieved that they were all on the same page. "Let’s head out in an hour. We can pick up some supplies, do some research, and maybe even get some answers."

As the trio prepared to head to town, Kanika decided to dress for the occasion, choosing a saree that hugged her form in all the right places. The soft, flowing fabric was a deep, rich shade of maroon, with golden embroidery tracing the edges, giving her an air of understated elegance. The saree's blouse, fitted snugly, accentuated her figure, with a delicate, plunging neckline that hinted at her curves without revealing too much. Her long hair was pinned up in a loose bun, with a few strands framing her face, adding to her allure.

As she adjusted her pallu over her shoulder, she caught a glimpse of herself in the mirror. The saree brought out her natural beauty, making her look effortlessly graceful yet undeniably sensual. She smiled, knowing that this choice of attire might turn a few heads in town, especially Abhishek's. It wasn't often she dress saree.

When she walked out of the room, both Abhishek and Rudra paused for a moment. Abhishek smiled approvingly, but Rudra’s eyes lingered for just a second longer than necessary. Kanika, noticing this, quickly looked away, feeling a sudden tension in the air.

"Ready to go?" Abhishek asked, breaking the moment.

"Yes," Kanika replied, smoothing down her saree. "Let’s get out of here for a while."

The three of them headed towards the car, the warmth of the morning sun contrasting with the lingering mystery that still clung to the ancient walls of the haveli.

Kanika saw a strange make that had been carved inside the mysterious room on the hand of an old man.
Rudra and Kanika approached the elderly man selling antiques, their curiosity piqued after the strange events at the haveli. They exchanged a glance before Rudra took the lead, asking casually, “We’ve been staying at the old Singh haveli. Do you know anything about its history?”

The man, who had been polishing a brass trinket, froze for a moment. His eyes darted up to meet theirs, and a shadow seemed to pass over his face. “The Singh haveli?” he muttered, his voice low. “Why are you asking about that place?”

Kanika noticed his hesitation. "We found some old things inside," she said softly. "Books, symbols... we thought you might know something."

The man’s expression turned cautious. "That place... is best left alone. No good has ever come from those walls. The people in the village... they fear it for a reason."

Rudra leaned in slightly, not letting up. "We’re not here to chase rumors. We need real information. What do you know about it? What’s the connection with the treasure that’s rumored to be hidden there?"

The man’s eyes widened slightly at the mention of treasure. He looked around as if making sure no one was listening, and then lowered his voice. "There are stories, yes, but not all of them are about treasure. Some say the place is cursed. Others... well, they say the treasure is real but guarded by something darker."

Kanika felt a shiver as she exchanged a glance with Rudra. “Please,” she pressed, her voice more urgent now. “We need to know more. What aren’t you telling us?”

The man hesitated again, but seeing their determination, he finally sighed. "Alright, but this isn’t the place to talk. Meet me tomorrow, at dawn, near the waterfall. There, I will tell you what I know. But be warned... some things are better left buried."

With that cryptic warning, the man turned back to his work, clearly ending the conversation. Rudra and Kanika left, a strange sense of foreboding hanging over them. Whatever secrets the haveli held, it seemed they were getting closer to uncovering them—but at what cost?

As they walked back through the crowded streets, Kanika’s mind was still racing with thoughts of the haveli, the strange encounter with the man, and the mystery they seemed to be unraveling. She adjusted her saree absently, feeling the light breeze against her skin, her focus elsewhere.

But then she noticed Rudra’s gaze. It lingered, almost unintentionally, on her  curvy midriff where the fabric of her saree dipped slightly. For a brief moment, time seemed to slow. She caught his eyes, and something unspoken passed between them. Her heart skipped, but the emotions were murky, undefined. She wasn’t sure how to feel—whether it was embarrassment, surprise, or something else entirely.

Rudra quickly looked away, as if realizing what had happened, his face unreadable. The awkward silence that followed made her more aware of the moment than she wanted to be. She wasn’t sure what to make of it. "He’s my brother-in-law,"she thought, trying to brush off the strange sensation. But the fact that she even had to remind herself of that bothered her in a way she couldn’t quite understand.

By the time they reached the haveli, the tension between them had shifted back into the background, buried under the weight of the mysteries still to uncover. Yet, somewhere deep inside, the moment lingered—unresolved, unclear, and leaving her with more questions than answers.

Rudra tossed and turned in his bed, the night unbearably long. A strange sensation tugged at him, refusing to let him rest. No matter how hard he tried, his thoughts kept drifting back to Kanika. The image of her from earlier in the day kept flashing in his mind. She had looked absolutely stunning in that saree, every curve of her body perfectly accentuated.

Her saree was dbangd in such a way that it left just enough to the imagination, while still teasing him with glimpses of her toned waist. The soft fabric hugged her hips as she walked, swaying with each step, the thin pleats clinging to her legs. But it was her waist that held his attention the most — that smooth, tantalizing sliver of skin where the saree dipped just low enough. His gaze had been drawn to it like a magnet, tracing the curve of her body with every movement she made.

The way Kanika walked, with a natural, graceful sway, made her hips and waist seem even more irresistible. Her anklets made a soft sound with every step, and Rudra couldn’t help but remember how sensual she had looked, how every movement seemed deliberate, tempting, and almost intoxicating. God, he thought, how could anyone forget the sight of her?

Rudra's restlessness grew as the night deepened, the image of Kanika in that saree replaying in his mind over and over. He felt a pang of guilt, knowing that she was his brother’s wife, but he couldn't shake the attraction. The subtle allure of her movements, the accidental meeting of their eyes, and the unspoken tension they both seemed to feel had unsettled him in a way he wasn’t prepared for.

He tried to push the thoughts away, reasoning with himself that it was the eerie atmosphere of the haveli playing tricks on his mind, intensifying emotions that would otherwise remain dormant. Yet, as much as he tried, the feelings lingered. Something deeper was stirring within him, something dangerous.

Meanwhile, in her room, Kanika lay awake too, her thoughts clouded with the events of the day. That fleeting moment with Rudra... She hadn’t imagined it. There was something there, wasn’t there? Her heartbeat quickened as she considered it. She tried to convince herself it was nothing, just a momentary lapse, but the subtle tension between them gnawed at her. And that, paired with the mysteries of the haveli, left her restless and unsettled.

In the darkness of the haveli, it wasn’t just the secrets hidden within the walls that were surfacing. Something else was beginning to unravel—something between Kanika and Rudra that neither could quite control.
