Vishal leaned back in his chair, his mind drifting to the stark contrast between the two versions of Afrah. The Afrah in real life was composed, sharp-tongued in her banter but modest and careful. She wasn’t as easily swayed, which made her all the more enticing. While Tanya would be at his beck and call with just a simple text, Afrah still played coy, keeping him on his toes.

Vishal smiled to himself, switching back to the conversation with Tanya. For now, he’d indulge her, but his mind was still on the challenge of cracking the guarded shell of Afrah. Tanya may have been an easy victory, but Afrah would be his ultimate prize.
