CHAPTER – 13
Next morning kavya woke up and got ready for her work. She has a working system set up in her room with 2 monitors and a laptop. Most of the time she is in a meeting with her manager and other teammates with client. Mostly her job is to take notes in the meeting and work accordingly.
Sometimes she puts on the earphones while on a call and she do some basic work while attending the call. This part she likes the most about her job. But whenever she thinks about it, she thought of Danish who helped her securing this job and she really wanted to end up this cold war between them.
Around 10 AM there is a 15 Min break for Kavya, She thought of calling Rahul, in the first time Rahul did not pick up the call. Kavya made a face and talk to herself this guys is always busy. Rahul picked up the call on the second time and Kavya talked to him, about random stuff and her job. While talking to Kavya, Rahul said he will be late tonight there is a client meeting. Kavya didn’t say anything coz its not new for her. She said ok and hung up the call.
Kavya is in a deep thought, thinking about Rahul like he is working so hard that he didn’t get time for her, but she didn’t pay too much attention coz she understands how hard working is Rahul. She thought of clearing things with Danish, she thinks this is the right time. No one is here they are alone and talk freely.
KAVYA, dressed in a crop top with short sleeves that stops above her navel and gym tights, stands near the kitchen entrance, nervously fidgeting with her fingers. Her eyes occasionally glance toward the door of the room where DANISH has been working all day. The tension in the apartment has been palpable for days. "Okay, you can do this. Just... talk to him."
