Rahul knelt beside her, gently placing a hand on her knee. "Kavya," he said softly, his voice tinged with concern. "I know this isn’t what you expected. I know you’re feeling low, and I hate that I haven’t been able to spend more time with you."
Kavya turned to him, her eyes meeting his. They were filled with unshed tears, reflecting the frustration she had been bottling up for weeks. "It’s just… I feel like I don’t belong here, Rahul. I thought I’d find a job by now, something that would make this move worth it, but I’m just sitting here all day, doing nothing. And you’re always so busy... I’m alone all the time."
Her voice cracked slightly as she spoke, and Rahul felt a pang of guilt. He had noticed her mood worsening over the weeks but had been too consumed with work to address it properly. "I’m sorry," he whispered, squeezing her knee gently. "I’ve been so caught up in everything that I haven’t been there for you. But I’m here now. Let me make it up to you."
He stood up, offering her his hand. Kavya hesitated for a moment before taking it, allowing him to lead her to the bedroom. Once inside, Rahul closed the door behind them, trying to create a space where they could reconnect without the distractions of the outside world.
He pulled her into his arms, holding her tightly. Kavya felt his warmth, the familiar scent of him comforting her slightly, though the weight of her frustrations remained. Rahul kissed her forehead, his lips lingering there as if trying to soothe away her worries. Then he kissed her cheek, trailing down to her lips, which he captured in a slow, tender kiss
Kavya responded, her hands moving to his back, gripping his shirt as if anchoring herself to him. The kiss deepened, and Rahul began to guide her toward the bed, his movements slow and deliberate, as if trying to reassure her that he was fully present with her in that moment.
They fell onto the bed, their kisses growing more passionate. Rahul’s hands roamed over her body, exploring every curve with a familiarity that brought them both a sense of comfort. Kavya’s heart began to race, her frustrations momentarily pushed aside as she allowed herself to get lost in the sensations he was creating.
Rahul's hand moved to cradle the back of her head, his fingers tangling in her hair as he pulled her closer. His kiss grew more passionate, his lips moving against hers with a hunger that seemed to have been building for weeks. Kavya responded in kind, her hands slipping around his neck, pulling him even closer as if she couldn’t get enough.
He tilted her head slightly to the side, giving him better access, and he took full advantage of it. Rahul’s lips left hers, trailing a line of soft, wet kisses down the side of her face, toward her jawline. Each kiss was slow, deliberate, as if he was savoring every inch of her skin. Kavya gasped softly, her body arching instinctively toward him as he continued his journey down to her neck.
Rahul lingered there, his lips pressing firmly against the sensitive skin of her neck. He kissed her just below her ear, his breath warm against her skin, sending shivers down her spine. Kavya’s heart raced, her breath coming in short, uneven gasps as he nuzzled her neck, his lips teasing and tasting her as if he couldn’t get enough.
With each kiss, Rahul seemed to pour more of himself into her, as if he was trying to communicate all the emotions he hadn’t been able to express with words. His lips moved across her neck, kissing, nibbling, and sucking in a rhythm that drove her wild, her hands clutching at his back, her nails digging into his skin as she lost herself in the sensation.
Rahul obliged, his kisses growing more passionate, more demanding as he trailed back up her neck to her lips. When he finally captured her mouth again, the kiss was fiery, intense, filled with all the longing and desire they had both been holding back. Their tongues danced together, exploring, tasting, each kiss more fervent than the last.
Kavya felt herself drowning in the intensity of the moment, her body aflame with need as Rahul’s kisses consumed her. Every brush of his lips against hers, every gentle nip and tender caress, sent waves of pleasure coursing through her. It was as if he was trying to make up for all the time they had lost, for every moment of loneliness and frustration she had felt, with the sheer force of his passion.
The world outside ceased to exist as they kissed, their connection deepening with every touch, every breath they shared. Rahul undressed her slowly, savoring each moment as if trying to draw out the connection between them. Kavya reciprocated, her hands working to remove his clothes with an urgency that hinted at her desire for something more, something to fill the emptiness she had been feeling.
As they came together, Rahul moved above her, his lips continuing to explore her body, kissing her neck, her collarbone, and lower still, leaving a trail of warmth in his wake. Kavya’s breath hitched, her body responding to his touch, the desire building inside her as she clung to him.
He entered her slowly, their bodies fitting together in a way that felt both familiar and desperately needed. Kavya moaned softly, her hands gripping his back, urging him to move. Rahul responded, his thrusts slow and deep at first, as if savoring each moment of their connection.
But as the intensity between them grew, Rahul felt the pressure building too quickly. His breath became ragged, and despite his best efforts to pace himself, he knew he was losing control. He tried to hold back, to prolong the moment for her sake, but it was no use. Within moments, he reached his peak, his body tensing as he released, collapsing against her with a shuddering breath.
Kavya felt him pull away too soon, her body still aching for more. She bit her lip, trying to mask her disappointment, but Rahul sensed it immediately. He rolled off her, lying beside her on the bed, his arm dbangd over his eyes in frustration.
"I’m sorry, Kavya," he whispered, his voice thick with guilt. "I wanted to make you feel better, to show you how much I care, but…"
Kavya turned to him, her hand resting on his chest, feeling the rapid beat of his heart. She gave him a small, understanding smile, though it didn’t quite reach her eyes. "It’s okay, Rahul," she said softly, but she knew it wasn’t entirely true. The frustration she had been feeling earlier began to creep back in, despite her attempts to push it away.
Rahul pulled her close, holding her tightly as if trying to make up for his inability to satisfy her in other ways. They lay there in silence, the weight of unspoken words hanging heavy in the air. Kavya closed her eyes, feeling the warmth of his embrace, but deep down, the emptiness remained, a void that their connection, however deep, couldn’t entirely fill.
