Chapter 31 – Tears and recriminations

 She looked one last time at her parents who averted their face from her gaze. She gave me a last lingering look. I did not look away but my gaze was stoic. She took a deep breath and with a sudden purpose as if she had decided on something she walked away from my life never to return again.

No more seeing her kid. No more family members to support. No more Vikram.
Defeated at end only(when all xxx over), but still....... a nice ending.
